  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I pulled my $400 knock-off steel Rubi bumper and dropped it off at the local LineX shop. After 6 years the original paint was fading badly and some surface rust was forming. I’ve been really pleased with this bumper and expected I’d be doing this in months rather than years.
  2. Cerakote question

This is a fantastic piece. I’ve been thinking about this product for a while. Love Cerakote on my firearms but was dissatisfied with their headlight restoration kit. So I was a bit hesitant for the trim kit. Y’all have talked me into making the plunge and trying it out.
  3. Heated Shifter Knob (6 speed) install?

You boys are disgusting. Ask a simple question and get these rude comments in return. NO WONDER I LOVE THIS FORUM!!😃😃 Thanks, y’all!!
  4. Heated Shifter Knob (6 speed) install?

My factory knob is deteriorating from sweat and use. I’d like to replace it with a heated knob. Anyone have a lead on such a luxury item?
  5. has anyone seen a radio screen do this?

My 2020 screen does weird things or even shuts down occasionally. Turn off ignition, open the door then restart and almost always it will reboot fine. Gremlins……
  6. Just ordered this knock off steel bumper

I’m not sure what you are referring to as ā€œparking light ringsā€. If you are referring to the fog lights, mine came with LED lights installed.
  7. Just ordered this knock off steel bumper

I bought one of these from an eBay seller. It’s been great. I, too, didn’t trust the tow hooks and swapped my originals in. I’ve had it 4 years and the paint is thinning just from sun and driving. I plan to coat it in bed liner this summer. The winch plate was fine for my Warn 8000 Lb. No flex...
  8. Has anyone else experienced this situation?

Yep. ā€˜20 Sport S pkg. the rubber started softening and deteriorating about 2 years in. I’ve just ordered button replacements from Amazon. These are not stick on covers but actual button replacements with no rubber coating. Search MOTOKU Switch Button For JEEP on Amazon. I have high hopes based...
  9. Check inside your OEM rock rails

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.
  10. Is using auto start stop worth it?

I was curious about this long ago when I bought the Jeep. I checked several tanks with the start/stop and several with it off. All general day to day driving. The S/S system would give me better mileage, about 2 to 2 1/2, mpg, assuming that the built-in mileage calculation is correct (I tested...
  11. Bottle Jack - What size to get.

That Unijack is cool a heck!!
  12. Bottle Jack - What size to get.

I got a bottle jack for one reason. The factory scissors jack failed the first time. I was on the shoulder of an off ramp changing a flat. The jack was near the edge of the asphalt and it had been raining. The edge of the asphalt sagged a little and the jack collapsed, bent in half. Great...
  13. That very first NECESSARY mod

2020 Gladiator, purchased new in late 2019. My first 2 mods, done at the same time, were the Sunrider top and a hard tri-fold bed cover. Followed real quick by Bartack seat covers. Later came a bumper for my old Warn M8, and an RLD cap. No lift, nothing ā€œfancyā€.
  14. I spent a week with the Hurricane I6

ā€œBack in the day…..ā€ we dropped small block Chevy and Ford V8s into flat fenders and early CJ5s, even mil-surp M38A1s. That market was pretty well supported, but every swap was a new pain in the arse. That was with minimal wiring and no emissions controls. Can’t imagine what a ā€œmodernā€ swap like...
  15. Any 2020 Gladiator Owners Still Here?

Bought mine in Sept 2019. About 75K miles and no issues. New tires and batteries, that’s to be expected. Usual recalls taken care of. It’s been one of the best vehicles I’ve owned. 6 speed MT, can’t get them anymore, so I need this truck to last a very long time. I’m happy, happy, happy. 😊
  16. Finally! Clutch recall “fix”

It’s been about 5 months now. Figured I’d check in. The new clutch is still working great. Has a very consistent engagement. All I could have asked for.
  17. Leather Heated Steering Wheel

I have a leather heated steering wheel. I love it! Great for my arthritis. It it is not heated all the time. I have to push a button to turn it on. (It automatically comes on at 40 degrees or less, but I can turn it off). I don’t think you will have any issue in the swap. Tape off the wire and...
  18. Throwback Thursday - Post your favorite rig pics from the past

My ā€˜67 Kaiser-Jeep Wagoneer. Wish I still had it. 232 CID six, ā€œthree on the treeā€ shifter, push-button AM radio. Nothing but pure ā€˜60s luxury.
  19. Stock Rubicon bumper on a Sport S?

I went from a stock Sport to the Rubicon steel bumper plus a Warn M8. It dropped about 1/2ā€
