  1. 2023 GLADIATOR RUBICON WITH BED CAMPER (STOCK SUSPENSION) SIDE TO SIDE SWAY/ROCK AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS

With that much weight in the bed, may think about some airbags. Cheap and easy.
  2. DEF - - WTF - - Melted Fender

I saw this, may be handy for your issue.
  3. 15 amp table saw off of inverter?

I'm amazed that these new battery powered tools can run a saw on such a small DC battery when the 120 volt a/c saws need 15 amps.
  4. Dealer trickery?

I was trying to say that that is what I would tell the dealer if they asked why I needed a cloned ecu 😆
  5. Dealer trickery?

I'm planning on a trip to the most northern point in Alaska and thats why I want a spare cloned ecu. I would hate to source one when I'm that far out.
  6. Ammo box bed toolbox project

These are great options but they certainly cost a lot more than my method. My method cost almost nothing as I already had the unistrut rails mounted, add a few nuts and 8 inches of unistrut and Bobs your uncle. I get it, my method is not as clean as having a molle system, but I like homemade stuff.
  7. Ammo box bed toolbox project

I do have a short length of cable locking it to the cargo tie-down. its on the end you can't see in the pick.
  8. Ammo box bed toolbox project

I've been buried up to my axles before and used it to lift from the trailer hitch. I have a camping trailer where the hitch has fallen off the block of wood I had it on and the jackstand sunk into the sand all the way to where the tongue was in the ground (camping at the beach in soft sand). I...
  9. Ammo box bed toolbox project

Howdy all, I needed some storage but didn't want to take up a lot of bed space by installing a full toolbox so thought this idea might work for my small stuff. I plan on adding a lock to the box before I'm done. Heck, I might add one to the other side too.
  10. Gladiator "dead" half-way around the globe

My understanding is that these don't actually have a locking steering column because the key/lock is not on the steering column anymore. You can pull off the small dash area where the start button is located (youtube can show you how to get it off) and see if the red wire going to the start...
  11. Auto start /stop 3.0 diesel

Plus, on the diesels we are supposed to cool down the turbo before shutting off. I your turbo is 800f and you pull off the highway to the stoplight, you should not shut down the engine without giving time for the turbo to come down in temp. It even gives cool down wait times in the owners manual.
  12. Me and my "New to Me"...Diesel Gladiator

Can you ask your friend if all the emissions are still on it. That milage is amazing. Thats a lot of miles per year of driving.
  13. Dukes of Hazard fans this weekend is Cooterfest!

Id like to walk around at this and look at all the General Lee cars. I loved that show when I was a kid.
  14. My 70k eco diesel bottoms out... Jeep "Sorry we can't do anything!?"

Many, many people have installed the Mopar 2 in lift kit and say it fixed the problem. I thought they fixed the bottoming problem in the 2023 models, my 23 Rubi never had this issue.
  15. I have a question for anyone who actually knows. Diesel related.

The intake gets caked with soot due to the EGR injecting soot into the intake and on into the cylinders. If the EGR took 100% of the gas from after the DPF I don't think this would be a problem. The government mandates it, but it doesn't do any good for an engine to have its exhaust gas put...
  16. HotShots EDT on sale via Prime Day

One gallon is like 64 tanks of fuel which is close to 2 yrs for me. Will it degrade in that time sitting on my shelf or not a problem? Any ideas.
  17. Charging RV battery from the jeep

I'd say until you run out of fuel. As long as the engine is running I would think that 120v bed plug would provide its rated power (400 watts) as long as you want.
  18. I have a question for anyone who actually knows. Diesel related.

Ok all, In have a question for anyone who may have tried this, or has enough knowledge to know if this idea will actually derate the diesel. Me and a buddy were talking hypotheticals and he has an idea to block off the EGR pipe before it enters the intake. I know it will throw a code. But will...
  19. Rolling stops

I have a diesel and disable ess most all the time. We are supposed to allow the turbo cool down before the engine shuts off so I would rather idle the 2 minutes at a stop light rather than let the ess shut the engine off. Even around town the turbo temp is above 500 degrees.
