You could probably try removing /shielding either 5 or 6 (I have no idea which), It would be like wrapping your cell phone in foil.
Where did you get your service manual? How much did it cost?
Please send a pic once you get it in the bed, it would be interesting to see how close the back tire is to the end of the tailgate.
Also, my tailgate will clear the jack on the front of my cargo trailer so you might be Ok.
Thank you sir, that makes perfect sense as pre turbo is under vacuum rather than under pressure, does that mean that the oil/mist also runs thru the turbo?
Try putting a 50 ohm dummy load on it to measure the power. Thats a big difference.
Also, please see page 22 of the owners manual.
IMPORTANT! Channels 1-7 cannot be removed from the Lo transmit
power setting due to power output regulations...
This question is for the diesel techs out there.
In our Gen 3 EcoDiesel's we have a crankcase ventilation system that allows air/oil mist into the intake.
My question is if the turbo is sending boost (positive air pressure) into the intake, how does any air/oil mist pass from the crankcase to...
I like it, be sure and sen pics when done.
Not a lot different than what these guys did (see pics in first post)

I have a 23 with 9000 miles on it. Just from watching my soot load on my scanguage, I have a hunch that the egr pulls pre-dpf exhaust until the engine is warmed up, then it pulls post-dpf exhaust once up to operating temp.
This is only a guess, if someone had a way of looking at the programming...
Just a guess, but the longer a wire carries close to its max recommended current, the hotter it gets, and its resistance increases. This can cause the current passing thru the conductor (wire) to exceed the fuse capacity, blowing the fuse. If that pump draws 18 amps, as the wire to the lighter...
Not to highjack the thread, but regarding the diesel and regearing.
Isn't 3.73 (stock gearing) in 6th gear the same as lower gearing (say 4.56) in say 8th gear?
If you put larger tires (I.e.37-38 inch) on I would think this would impact take off performance from a stop, but wouldn't really...
Maybe get something like this, then both the skid and bike rack will fit, but may extend further back than you like.

In 10 years we may all remember when you used to have to change the transfer-case gear manually.
I'm kind-of old fashioned, but as far as I'm concerned, the more electronics in a vehicle the worse it is for us old guys who grew up with carburetors and points.
Please, pretty please with a cherry on top, drop the spell check police. It just clogs the thread.
Now, regarding the subject of this thread. I believe that the tech is there to track you if someone really really needed to (terrorism, ect), but a lot of murders go unsolved because the camera...
Hi, I found this thread on another forum where someone did this to their 4xe.
He details where he found the cell card in his head unit.
Please let us know if you try this, I may also be interested in giving it a try...
