No they do not screw out. Fuel does make another version of this wheel that is a real beadlock. If this is not my daily driver someday I may put beadlocks on.
It is a great suspension. My buddy who has been crawling for years and has a really built JK has been impressed. I have gone just about everywhere he can and a few places he can't. I haven't found a bind on it yet. I do need to get a belly pan as this suspension lets me get over so much but...
I did it pretty much by myself without experience over a long weekend. Had a friend give some verbal help as he couldn't help wrench because of a surgery. Had to help do a sleepover birthday for my daughter in there and a bunch of other stuff. So if you prep right, set everything up and read...
No. I I just removed the spare, droop the read down to the ground and crawl under. Lots of room. Quick tip, leave the spare tire holder loose and place to the side or you will keep hitting it with your head.
If you droop the axle enough it is pretty spacious. The front two you have to work...
I had it pretty flexed when it was rubbing the bumper. The stubby bumper hangs just a bit out from the grill. Lugs of the tire catches it at pretty good compression/flex on other side.
I fit my 37 in the tire well. Helps that the track bar is gone. I have to really push it in there. I have Nitto Ridge Grapplers that run a little small. Some others can't fit a 37" spare.
I did get a bed mount for my spare when I go wheeling. Don't want to tear it up underneath.
Which hydraulic bump stop do you use in the front and did it take a long time to set it properly.
Only issue I have with the suspension so far is if some dirt gets in the rear spring seat it gets squeaky. Have to jack it up and pressure wash it out. Also it flexes so much I can easily rub my...
I haven't changed anything with the axles and have wheeled it pretty good with 37's.
I am thinking of doing hydraulic steering. When on the rocks it can be a beast to turn it.
Everyone loves them. Really glad my wife and friend talked me into them. People love them on the trails too. I have scratched them up pretty good but knew that going in. Going to just touch them up because I will keep doing it.
I like them. They have been great on road and off. We have gone on some road trips and they are really nice. I have no experience with King Shocks so I can't comment much.
Good/bad problem to have. My suspension allows for so much flex that my tires rub my stubby front bumper when compressed and turning in. I rubbed both sides while wheeling this weekend. I am at the lift kit manufacturers recommended wheel backspacing. I hit the tread on the corner of the...
After looking through my notes it is not the exact same height measurement. Was to the fastener in the fender in the before which is higher up. Hard to measure to that in after as tire sticks out (poor choice on my part). Also the NITTO Ridge Grapplers run smaller than 37", actually seem to...
There are 4 lugs on the top of the axle from casting that you drill out and tap. The kit comes with the drill bit and tap. There are 4 large bolts on the top as well as the u-bolts. They worked with Dana to set limits, 37" or smaller and you don't need to weld it. Heavy wheeling or over 37"...
I couldn't justify the price right now. I love the fuel beadlocks. Wife said get these wheels and if you need the beadlocks later get them... Knew I loved her. Would get the red and get the beadlock ring powder coated black.
