My good friend's 2020 JL with ~25,000 miles on it just did the exact same thing earlier this month. Massive amounts of trans slippage and then slamming gears. Once he came to a stop it locked the trans in park and he had to get it towed to dealer. They told him he needs a new trans and that it...
Just installed mine today. No error codes so far, runs great! I ran a 7.22 0-60 doing a boosted launch in 4H (measured with the Tazer). Not bad for a jeep on 37s!
I haven't had this happen to mine and I have been through the car wash plenty of times. If I was you though, I would go under the Jeep to the fuel filter/water separator and crack the drain bolt and see if any water comes out for good measure... draining water out of that is part of the standard...
I had a similar issue except it was just my driver side reverse light. You need to un-marry, remarry, adjust your settings then full reboot and perform at least 2 full sleep cycles according to the tazer manual. I did this and mine has been fine. Ill try and find the write up and post it here.
yeah man - my rig was like 1/2 inch from riding on the bumps. That particular trailer has a lot of tongue weight. Def need some support in the rear and it would tow this all day like nothing. Luckily it was only a 2 hours drive and not something I do often. Still drove great even though it looks...
Guys, makes sure to check every fuse and that your PCM is fully secured as well. I had a few random CELs with my diesel jeep and it turn out my PCM wiring harness was not fully connected... my brother had some issues on his JL with loose fuses.. It doesnt have to be by much either. Picture below...
Love my Diesel - would do it 10 times over. I get 19 average MPG and 24 hwy @ 75mph.
Also, why not take your lift and accessories off and just buy Rubicon take-offs on facebook marketplace to bolt back onto your trade in? you can probably get all the stock Rubicon stuff for 1k on there and...
27 foot trailer, 6000lbs, lots of tongue weight with how the axles are on this setup. Jeep is an ecodiesel on 37s with mopar lift kit and front leveling kit. Towed like a beast with 4 adults in the jeep. Temps were normal even at 75mph. Weigh distribution hitch would have been helpful...
I've been looking for the pull PDF online, can't find it, only the short descriptions, etc. If you were able to locate it can you share?
Also, some folks on here have access to software accounts at dealers and auto shops that can provide detailed info not readily available via a google search.
