Here is a full set for $2500. If you contact the sellers or keep an eye out, youll find one. I see them pop up every once in awhile for other conversions.

You can pick up a front sport axle for ~$1200. Personally I’d rather just get a known-good unit than put money into something I’d always be worrying about. It may change the math a bit if you plan to add lockers, regear, etc.
The difference in wind noise is noticeable, but still sounds like a Jeep. I got this more for thermally insulating the top and I’ve already noticed a huge benefit on that front.
There are fasteners in the middle to help keep it all together. Funny enough, the center holes come predrilled from...
I just went ahead and screwed my hotheads to the frame with self tappers and overall it’s pretty acceptable. The folded pictures are after ~10 miles on the highway @ 70mph.
I’m excited for this and following closely now. I’d definitely prefer a torsen for the rear axle even if just for better control on icey roads, but the front axle is less clear. Does anyone have advice looking at torsen/open/selectable locker for the front axle.
For anyone still following along:
Order placed 9/12/2021 and I was just informed it’s expected to ship first week of December. Honestly not unexpected given the climate. Looking forward to some snow camping around the holidays.
Yeah, my sport s with basic 5” radio has accidentally been subjected to several surprise showers. I wipe it down with a beach towel and don’t worry about it too much. Nothing has shown any damage yet.
I also swapped from halogen but programmed to computer to LED. I remember there being the same issue when I got some led front running lights. The matrix of factory options/programmer/resistor/other factors is a pain to flush out. Luckily these tails were pretty straight forward for me and...
Just curious, why would one prefer these over the OEM Rubicon lockers? For a set of these + install you could almost buy a set of rubi takeoff axles. Are they that much stronger?
Wow I freaking love this. I’d do it in a heartbeat if somebody wants to do the leg work. Unfortunately it feels like there’s a fair bit of custom fab work here
Edit: Is there any chance you could do this photoshop in white?
