I'm not 100% sure. We're going with a pretty big group and you know how busy things are during EJS. I'm just going to go with the flow, get in where I fit in. I think the only one that's off the list of potentials is Pritchett Canyon.
I managed to get some upgrades done before we leave for Moab this week.
The thoughts of needing to get the spare tire out from under the truck when it's in a compromised position never made me feel good so I came up with a way to strap it to the bed cover.
Got the front control arms...
I wasn't able to get a ton of pictures but it was a GREAT turnout. I'll see what pictures I can get from the guys I was with. I know there was a lot more taken by everyone else.
These are a good option too... I've got a few of them between mine and the wife's rigs.

There is a reverse threaded bolt that goes into the end of the shackle pin that takes a triangle key/bit to remove it...

I know this was mentioned in another thread but I wanted to just get a headcount for who is going this weekend so I know who to look out for and say hello! Also, hope to maybe get some last minute attention to the meet so maybe more people will show...
You're so dense.
It's not true, never has been, never will be. The math you provided doesn't equate to the screenshot you took. The screenshot and your admission that "That tire dropped 1-2 right there." actually prove your math to be WILDLY incorrect.
If the theory you're attempting to use...
The forum post you attempted to cite in order to prove your point, discussed exactly 35s and 40s.
I'll use your equation from before:
Bottom radius of my 39s = 19"
Effective diameter = 38"
Circumference = 38x3.14 (π) = 119.32"
If we air down enough to drop the axle 1.5" based on "That tire...
Do you really think that slight difference equates to being able to run an aired down 40 next to an aired up 35?
School us, teach.
If you would like, my wife has a JLUR on stock tires sitting next to my Gladiator on 39s and I still have the 37s sitting in the garage. San Antonio isn't far...
You've only done half of the equation, bud.
There is a TON of math in that 97% statistic that he just brushed over and you have also conveniently brushed over.
Here is a lengthy explantation of the math behind that -->...
Bro... did you really just cite another forum to prove your point on a forum? That's like quoting your mother and saying that alligators are so ornery because they got all them teeth and no tooth brush. Haha!
I will say that I agree with you that the top half of the tire doesn't matter when...
Well... as much as you've been told that. It's not true. Not in this case. That's just the easiest way to calibrate a speedo because a 37 isn't actually a 37 and you're making an assumption when doing it this way that all 4 tires are the same size.
If you understand how these systems work, you...
Thank you sir!
The wheel are KMC Machete Crawls, 17x9 -38 offset.
I am sticking with the Mopar springs but I am adding the RK adventure pro control arms and I've got some RadFlo shocks on order to go with it.
Are you trying to say that the speed sensors somehow operate based on whether the axle is level or not? Does your open diff axle not have ABS or traction control?
When one tire is larger than the other, one wheel will be spinning faster than the other at the same speed. You can't trick a speed...
I managed to snag a set of these recently and got them mounted this past weekend. My 37 KM3s are going on the wife's Wrangler build.
So far, I love them. We'll see how big of a difference they make in the rocks.
Also, I've got a Rock Krawler 4 link going in the rear in the next few weeks... I...
