I'm on 39s with a pieced together lift. Mopar 2 inch springs, with Rock Krawler control arms, Artec steering and RadFlo shocks.

Going up was an absolute cinch... but going down definitely had some pucker factor going! HAHA! I don't recall anything right before wipe out hill... I'm talking about an outcropping of rock at the top of the very first dirt hill you climb.

Road manners is a huge part of it but ditching the track bar in the rear adds a TON of room for a spare tire under the bed and the joints in the Rock Krawler stuff removes basically all of the binding from the control arms... plus they are BEEFY, those stock control arms will only be straight...

We ran 'The Trifecta' on Wednesday. So, Poison Spider, Golden Spike and Gold Rim. That was definitely my favorite day of the trip. There was a handful of real deal obstacles and the views were incredible. IMO the view of Moab from on top of Gold Rim is better than the view from Top Of The World...

I absolutely recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

It was long... but honestly, the views once you get past Amarillo are incredible. It makes the drive go way easier. On the way home, we took a different route in CO and drove up over Wolf Creek pass and that was SOOOO nice.

I'd love to take you up on that but we will be way west of there by the time we pass through CO. We're staying in Farmington, NM the first night of the trip.

We're definitely doing top of the world. My wife hasn't ever been to that part of the country so, that one is a must. Golden Spike is definitely on the list too.
