  2. My hillbilly alternative to a Pelican/Cargo box

    Now go to the Army/Navy surplus store and buy one of those inert bazooka rockets. It’ll fit nicely into that cutout!
  3. First time towing and impressed .

    Unless you have a guy you’re working with and know him on a personal level, who cares wnere you buy your Jeep. If you want to buy from that particular dealer, ask them to do a dealer trade. But dont offer to pay anything extra for it. Dealers trade vehicles with each other, all the time.

  16. Is manual better than 8 speed auto?

    Take that manual truck on the twisties, up in the mountains and you’ll understand why a manual sports car is so much more fun to drive. A high performance car wont be much more fun to drive than a truck, down in the city.
  17. Is manual better than 8 speed auto?

    Trucks=Practical=Automatics Sports Cars=Fun Performance=Manuals
  18. Bolt-on Hood Deflectors not for Mojave Gladiator—WHY?

    Seeing as how these hood deflector wrap down the sides, all the way to the hood latches. Perhaps it has something to do with the Mojave hood sitting higher.

    Wow! Nice resto job!

    Yes, your method would definitely extend the life of the Jackery Battery. Less charge cycles on the Jackery will extend the battery life. Unfortunately, OP has run his set up for 5 years, so its too late if his unit does indeed have a worn down battery, that is unable to hold a good charge.
