As I stated before, the manufacturers did give us that feature when ESS first came out +10 years ago. But our govt regulators made them get rid of it.

I’ve mentioned this before, but sometime around 2016, they changed the rules so that the ESS button resets after every shutdown. My 2015 Porsche is grandfathered in and retains its ESS memory(and has been “OFF” for the last ten years).

Moral of the story, a plug is just temporary to get you to a tire shop. Get punctures patched. Its cheap and a heck of a lot better than any plug.
