ARE QC is a joke. We are a dealer and see issues on 90% of the tops that come in, we typically send a couple a month back for defects. Their color match is typically spot on but the paint tends to have debris in it and fish eyes. Fitment is also an issue, rarely is the fit true, most have to be forced to fit and clamped in place. I can do a cx built like I want for $2k and still wouldn't order one.
Thats a shame. Maybe the CEO needs to get a little more involved, even start working an occasional shift with the crew. At least thats what I would do if I cared about my company.

Corporations with a lot of capital are buying up individual manufacturers in a given segment of market. This creates a kind of monopoly control in the given segment. This is happening with Real Truck buying up everything in the offroad and truck equipment arena. They then reduce production costs by making a cheaper product and reduce QC while increasing prices. This is happening in almost all types of business including: RV parks, sporting goods, automotive parts, grocery chains, food, electronics, automobile brands, appliance makers, just about any place money can be made. This reduces competition giving fewer choices and higher prices. I do not like it but how can it be stopped?
