  1. Thinking about switching to 37s on my daily. Bad idea??

Unless you had MT's on your jeep before putting the All terrains on then they aren't going to ride better than the street tires that were on it. Now if you had a MT then ok. If you lift it then that is going to allow air to get under it which is going to throw the already non aerodynamics of the...
  2. Thinking about switching to 37s on my daily. Bad idea??

No regear on my 2020 Max Tow and I get around 17.2 to 17.4 average on mine most of the time. Never under 17 for the most part unless I'm idle for a extended period of time. I drive mine sensible and keep it between 68 and 75 for the most part on the interstate and I do about 5 miles over the...
  3. Thinking about switching to 37s on my daily. Bad idea??

I love these statements, better than stock, really on 37's and a lift better than stock. I guess better if you prefer a rougher ride, LOL! I have lifted a ton of vehicles over the years and non are a better ride once lifted and then throw on aggressive tires:facepalm:
  4. Both Batteries Dead 2020 Gladiator $898 to replace!?!???

It's probably your big battery not the small one. Sounds exactly like What happened with mine and I was convinced it was the small battery but after getting into the dealership it was the big battery. Mine was at 54,000 miles and had a dead cell in it. Once they hook it to their machine they...
  5. A rant? Lots of TERRIBLE advice in the "In real life" Jeep Community.

Who cares, move on!!! Plenty of bad advice in every community. It's been going on for years in the Jeep, Mustang and BMW forums I'm in and by local people also. People think they are right and you are wrong all the time. A general search online will get you all the info you need most of the...
  6. No shocks

I need new shocks soon as well. I got the Rubicon Take offs on right now and am researching a good shock for mine. I can't say I've ever really enjoyed how the Rubicon shocks ride honestly. I may end up with Rancho shocks since I enjoyed how they rode on my JKU.
  7. DIY How-to: Take the Aux Battery Offline

It's normally the large battery that goes bad rarely the small aux battery. Not saying the aux battery does or doesn't help drain the large battery but I have 75,000 miles on my aux battery at it's still working. Replaced the large battery at 54,000 miles. These things get misdiagnosed all the...
  8. 35s, why did I wait so long

No regear on mine and running 37 12.5 17 Yokohama Geolanders X-AT and I still see 8th and over 17 mpg in mine around 18 to 18.5 on longer trips. About 3-1/4 inches of lift with the Readylift SST 2.5 lift kit and Rubicon takeoffs installed. I went 315 70 17 KO2 second day of owner ship And 15,000...
  9. Best 35" A/T tires

That's because the KO2 is a better road tire, it has a tighter tread pattern than the falken's do and is way better in the rain than the falken is. It also grips better on rocks than the falken's do, comparing A/T to A/T. The KO2 just runs much smaller than the Falkens do.
  10. 35s, why did I wait so long

Never saw a light Toyo at all so I'm assuming the wildpeaks a heavy tire. I've ran Toyo's in 35's in the open country and some M/TS and the weight was 69lbs on the open country and 72lbs on the M/T's just tires, that was when I had my JKU. The KO2 and Kanati's are lighter and I think Yokohama...
  11. 35s, why did I wait so long

When I had stock wheels on mine and 315 70 17 K02's my combined weight was 88lbs total. The wheel is 26lbs and the the K02's weight was 62lbs a tire in the E rated tire. I was only at 98lbs with 37 12.5 17 Kanati Trail hogs and stock wheels. The Kanati's weigh 72lbs a piece.
  12. 35s, why did I wait so long

The biggest question is why not 37's been far to long to not go big or go home
  13. Discount Tire Installation quote

Walmart don't have the machines to install 37's, none of them do. They will give you a quote then tell you they can't install them once they get delivered. My buddy works for Walmart corporate and he said some don't even have theachines to install 35's
  14. Discount Tire Installation quote

Yeah that's not necessarily totally true based on my experience online. My quote was not right but they did honor it which I do greatly appreciate. Like I had stated earlier, I would of paid the $179 to have my tires mounted but the only reason I was checking online for a quote was to see if the...
  15. Discount Tire Installation quote

Just want to give @Discount Tire rep Joe a shout out. He took care of me. The price when I went in was $154+ tax what I paid 18 months ago but Joe stepped up and got the price I was quoted honored. I will say either way I would of paid the $179 because I still feel like that's a good deal to get...
  16. Discount Tire Installation quote

    I already got it scheduled
  17. Discount Tire Installation quote

YEAH, I only use discount for mounting and balancing, never had a issue with them. No complaints I was just making sure the price was correct and it had been confirmed.
  18. Discount Tire Installation quote

Your local Discount Tire charges that. There are only about 3 or 4 shops within a 100 miles of me that will mount 37's and all but Discount are over $200
  19. Discount Tire Installation quote

Yeah I paid $179 18 months ago and $150 about a year before that so that's why I was a little taken back by the price. I'll take it 100% not complaining because I though $179 was a deal based on some of the other prices I got quoted.
