I'm 100% not new to it, I work for the largest manufacturer of Engineered wood in the world, Weyerhaeuser, been working for them for close to 20yrs. We grow the wood, and then turn it into what goes into your house. They pay very well also and I can promise you I worked my way from cutting the...
I work a full time job and run a full time business so I know what hard work is. I know exactly what it takes to make quality products and I also know when I'm getting ripped off. Don't turn this thread into something that's it's not. Be happy with your rock hard sliders and move on.
Their ugly and over priced. No way would I put those on my Jeep and I'm definitely not putting a entire step down the side. I was looking at the 4 steps for convenience of removal and it being compatible with the rubi rails. I can have someone make me 4 steps for mine for cheaper than $1700
I'd just fix it and move on. Things happen but deleting a functional system over one failure seems extreme and in the process your going to void other warranties as well. Doesn't seem smart to me but it's not my Jeep. If it was me I'd let them fix the problem. Chances of it happening twice is...
So they shouldn't have a marketplace where you can sell stuff. If you don't like it then don't go to that section of the forum. It's a added perk if you ask me. List and sell your stuff for no charge to people who may actually buy it, sounds like a win win.
Become a paid member by contributing to the forum and then gripe about sponsors who pay to be sponsors so we can have a forum to talk on without having to pay. Even though 5% doesn't seem like a huge discount, I have found that a lot of sponsor will give you a even better price plus the 5% if...
I put a Jasper transmission in my 2010 JKU and a year later the torque convertor went out. Instead of just replacing the torque convertor they opted to swap the whole transmission under warranty and paid to have it put back in as well. 3yr 100,000 mile warranty, worth every penny I paid for it...
It's going to be tough to find a hub centric wheel spacer that's O.5", I've never saw one available. I ran 1.75" hub centric ones on my jeep with 4.10 gears and it did great with 35's and 37's. Never saw less than 18.5 mpg on 35's and haven't been under 17 mpg on 37's but a few times and that...
Yeah, not saying it's accurate at all just info and he wasn't sure of the dates. Seems funny that one was built in August 2020 and one in Sept 2020 and one was sold as a 2021 and the other a 2020.
I was told by the guy over the service dept at my dealership it was early 2020 models that had the issue. I think post July or August builds in 2020 were fine or in later built models they had the issued figured out. I've not heard of any post 2020 models having the issues, or not enough of them...
I keep mine at 34 psi cold, chalk test says they are wearing even and I rotate them every oil change, which is 8500-9,000 miles. I've got 42,000 miles on my Kanati Trail hogs and probably have about 3000-4000 more miles left in them. 37-12.5 17's
Get a lighter set of 37's and you will be happier with the 37's. My 37 12.5 17 Kanati' Trail Hogs only weigh 72lbs a piece, that's 9lbs lighter than those Baja Bosses are. You will feel a difference with even a 9lb lighter tire.
I'd say drop back to 35's but if your in love with the look of...
True they will have more HP, being more capable off road we will see.Say what you want about the door and top removal but more times than not a person looking to buy a Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator are doing it for the top removal or at the very least the ability to fold back a soft top and have...
Unless the doors and top come off the Colorado and Ranger I don't see JT'S needed to come down in value. People shopping for a Gladiator are looking for something like a jeep with a bed on it to haul stuff. Heck the Broncos out and Wranglers haven't came down in price.
Yeah, I can still pull $32,000 for mine with right at 71,000 miles with about $9000 in upgrades overall but that's what I would expect after it being 3+ yrs old. All in I'm at right around $45,000 invested in upgrades and Jeep. That still seems like a pretty good hold in value compared to other...
This totally, lived and learned. I always pay attention to MPGs because it can tell you a lot about something going on with your vehicle. I'm constantly listening to the jeep or any vehicle I drive and watching the performance. Perfect example was on the way to the mountains I noticed and the...
