The biggest question is why not 37's been far to long to not go big or go home

Am planning to also go with 35s if I can keep the weight the same or less. The factory wildpeaks work great, but they seem pretty heavy to me. For your KO2s I’m seeing mixed specs online, what’s your finished tire/wheel weight, are you close to 93lbs?

for reference, on my wife’s HA ( meant for a different purpose ), the combined finished weight is closer to 70lbs. That 20lbs difference, per corner, is a HUGE difference.

When I had stock wheels on mine and 315 70 17 K02's my combined weight was 88lbs total. The wheel is 26lbs and the the K02's weight was 62lbs a tire in the E rated tire.

I was only at 98lbs with 37 12.5 17 Kanati Trail hogs and stock wheels. The Kanati's weigh 72lbs a piece.

So far, the Toyo’s are the only ones that I’ve seen where you could switch from the Wildpeaks, go up to 35s, and still be only 1lb or 2 off of stock ( with C or D rating of course)

Never saw a light Toyo at all so I'm assuming the wildpeaks a heavy tire. I've ran Toyo's in 35's in the open country and some M/TS and the weight was 69lbs on the open country and 72lbs on the M/T's just tires, that was when I had my JKU. The KO2 and Kanati's are lighter and I think Yokohama Geolanders are lighter as well in a 35. The Kanati's weigh the same as the KO2 in a 35 and the Geolanders A/T is 66lbs.

I am planning on going with 315/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs. Specs have them weighing in at 62lbs. Seems a little lighter than the stock 33' Falkens on my Mojave . USAA discount of 25% makes it a great deal (for those who can get it) plus I like the aggressive look along with being an A/T tire. Can basically get 5 tires installed out the door for just under $1600 all in with rebate.

Got 48k on the Falkens. Starting to wear down but still got some life on them.

After 50 miles highway and street, I love these tires. The ride has definitely improved, smoother and quieter than the factory wild peaks. 8th gear is there, just like before. I have a Tazer on order to correct the speedo. Not sure how accurate Waze is, but it's matching the Jeep speedo. I also really like factory wheels; I plan to stick with them for a while.

Future plans include to get the AEV, 2" installed. The way the Jeep stance is now, I can hold off on that mod. for a while. LOL.

My experience with the KO2s is similar. Converted to the 315 from stock (though on AEV Borahs) and have about 17k miles on them currently. Been a great tire and very little sign of wear. Quiet and good ride manners. I did do the AEV 2inch lift and the shock brackets so that probably helps a bit as well.

I also discovered that Waze may not display speed accurately when plugged into CarPlay. Many times it shows the speedometer display instead of the actual GPS based speed. At 70 I’m about 4 or 5 mph out ( I’m waiting to get the Tazer and haven’t used the thing AEV sent to fix the speedometer).

No regear on mine and running 37 12.5 17 Yokohama Geolanders X-AT
Jeep Gladiator 35s, why did I wait so long PXL_20220601_213734217.MP
and I still see 8th and over 17 mpg in mine around 18 to 18.5 on longer trips. About 3-1/4 inches of lift with the Readylift SST 2.5 lift kit and Rubicon takeoffs installed. I went 315 70 17 KO2 second day of owner ship And 15,000 miles in 37's went on. I should of done it from the beginning. This is mine with the Kanati trail hog AT-4 37 12.5 17 on it. I would of went back with those tires but got the Geolanders for $1087 shipped to the house from Walmart back I'm February .Couldn't pass that deal up.

The Toyo AT3 in 285/75/17 is C rated and a nice compromise as well, just a little under a 35 inch tire. When I had them on my JL, they were the same size as a 315/70/17 BFG as BFG's run small. The toyo is a bit of a pizza cutter, but they rode fantastic. I ran them on Icon rebounds.

What pressure are you running?
Mine seem really happy around 30 cold and 32 rolling.
