This survey seems like an oxymoron to me ( if that’s the correct word ). A survey implies they want feedback, yet the person receiving it wasn’t offered a chance to identify the characteristics that were important to them. The ppl that generated that survey already boxed in, framed, or...
I must be missing something, why get a 392’s steel bumper, instead of a JT Rubi/Mojave take off? Any special features, or was it just the right price?
Definitely seemed like we was more about the showing off, making vids, proud of tools/equipment … over following specs.
he was doing it for the grams.
I’ve thought about it, for all the wrong reasons. I don’t like scissor jacks, but have fancied the idea of being able to use some kind of jack, that I could interface with my cordless 1/2” impact. No more manual twisting, no more handle pumping. A car lift for residential diy use just costs...
Yep; I’m not a fan of trusting the long-life promises; I see those as an upper bounds in happy-path conditions. I’m no expert on coolant, but I know that changing the coolant is cheaper than replacing corroded head gaskets ( and a heck of a lot easier too ). Those fluids can become corrosive...

Literally, while I was typing my question, I was wondering how many EVs had to go to an emissions check station ... I can only imagine the frustration of waiting in line, by requirements, for something that doesn't even physically apply.
Why do you even need to do an emissions check, on a vehicle that’s barely a year old and only 5,700mi? My county doesn’t even require emissions checks, and nearby counties wouldn’t require it until it’s like 5yrs old or more.
Is this to help fund those Hershey stop lights?
This matches what I recall, just ordered a set, and noticed that they now say that the 8" version is good up to a 2" lift ( no longer 2.5" lift ). At some point, I would like to migrate to a low-lift ( not just the puck kind ), and they're usually 2.5" or more. If I do, I'll likely move the 8"...
