  1. A huge pet peeve: graffiti for Instagram

I'm trying to Instagram stalk him now. He posted what I assume are his kids name and his IG page says he is from South Dakota. It would be great if I could find an address to turn over to the local authorities or something. It would have been really great to catch him in the act, but I can at...
  2. A huge pet peeve: graffiti for Instagram

I was exploring out by Moab this weekend near some caves with pictographs and came across this: This type of crap makes me furious. What sane person is going to spend the time to drive out in the middle of nowhere, then write down their Instagram and what I assume are their kids' names on a...
  3. Where did you WHEEL your Gladiator today?

White Rim Trail this weekend. No real wheeling involved, more overlanding. But the scenery was amazing.
  4. HYDRO BLUE PEARL Gladiator JT Club

On the White Rim Trail this weekend.
  5. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

I took the Gladiator on the White Rim Trail. It was quite cold (18), but it made it so we barely saw anyone the entire time. It was an amazing trip. Here are a couple photos.
  6. TPMS in Spare?

I thought it was dumb that jeep didn't include a tpms in the spare, so I had the dealer install one today. The part was 49, they charged 28 for labor. I'm pleased with those prices, so much cheaper than the Toyota prices on the Tacoma I came from.
  7. 3.0 EcoDiesel Oil - Mopar part number

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, I just had my first jeep wave oil change and they used the same part number, 68523985AA. While it isn't the officially listed oil on the MOPAR website as listed above, it does appear that this oil, Pennzoil ultra euro meets the spec for this engine based on the...
  8. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I love it. I was thinking about ordering the same vinyl name for my gladiator. It's fitting for more of us than would admit.
  9. 37" Tires non-Rubicon diesel

Stock Willys ecodiesel on 37s. I honestly feel no need to regear. I have no issues maintaining 75mph in 8th, get good mileage (23-24) and it has no issues on Moab. Really, in 4 low, it idles up lot of the obstacles offroad. I could feel a difference in acceleration when comparing mine on 37s...
  10. Long time Toyota owner potentially coming over

Absolutely. Here is the Taco. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun with it. And here is what replaced it: Day 1, and about 20 miles of ownership: And with a little flex in Moab after I got the diamondback and tent on.
  11. Long time Toyota owner potentially coming over

I came from a 19 Tacoma TRD-OR to a ecodiesel Willy's gladiator with Mopar 2" lift and 37's, and I couldn't be happier. The tacoma was fun, but always underwhelming with the engine not making any power until 3500rpm and the transmission being the absolute worst I've ever had in a vehicle...
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I really like the looks of this bumper, what is it?
  13. So why do people like roof top tents

I live in Vegas and where I camp it is generally uneven and rocky. I've found it very easy and quick to put a couple rocks under tires to level the jeep, and the tent is deployed in under a minute. I'm able to camp comfortably in places that I would never be able to use a ground tent due to...
  14. Lets see all those Gladiators with lifts and bigger tires!

My diesel is on 37's and I really don't see any need to regear. I'm averaging 23 in the winter, 24 in the summer. No problem maintaining 8th on highway at 75, hills it drops to 7th like it should. Plenty of torque for acceleration, and in 4low on obstacles it idles up a surprising amount of...
  15. Diamondback cover

I have the SE and it is plenty stout for what I do with it (mount a rooftop tent). I had no intentions on carrying an ATV on too, so the HD with it's extra weight didn't provide any benefit to me. Anyway, it's a quality product. It is more expensive than other hard tonneaus, but not by that...
  16. Stick Pics - The Unofficial place to show off your decals and stickers

That's on black bear pass going into telluride. If I remember right, that house was some sort of hydroelectric plant or something.
  17. Switch to Diesel

I don't know what to say, I've always gotten either at or above the started had mileage with my vehicles, regardless of the vehicle. Even if my diesel gladiator got the 18mpg of the anemic Tacoma it replaced, I'd be thrilled with it. I love the sound, the grunt, and the effortless low rpm...
  18. My Gladiator is the most polarizing vehicle I’ve ever owned.

I've gotten more compliments on this than any other vehicle I've driven. This was written on the drink cup at the drive through the other day, the girl that made it couldn't have been more than 18 (which is why I'll forgive calling it a car).
  19. Switch to Diesel

I should add that I usually drive fairly slowly, like speed limit or a little below and lots of coasting to stop lights.
  20. Switch to Diesel

Diesel on 37s, and I'm averaging 24mpg over the last 3300 miles or 50/50 highway city. I absolutely love it.
