I'm trying to Instagram stalk him now. He posted what I assume are his kids name and his IG page says he is from South Dakota. It would be great if I could find an address to turn over to the local authorities or something. It would have been really great to catch him in the act, but I can at...
I was exploring out by Moab this weekend near some caves with pictographs and came across this:
This type of crap makes me furious. What sane person is going to spend the time to drive out in the middle of nowhere, then write down their Instagram and what I assume are their kids' names on a...
I took the Gladiator on the White Rim Trail. It was quite cold (18), but it made it so we barely saw anyone the entire time. It was an amazing trip. Here are a couple photos.
I thought it was dumb that jeep didn't include a tpms in the spare, so I had the dealer install one today. The part was 49, they charged 28 for labor. I'm pleased with those prices, so much cheaper than the Toyota prices on the Tacoma I came from.
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, I just had my first jeep wave oil change and they used the same part number, 68523985AA. While it isn't the officially listed oil on the MOPAR website as listed above, it does appear that this oil, Pennzoil ultra euro meets the spec for this engine based on the...
Stock Willys ecodiesel on 37s. I honestly feel no need to regear. I have no issues maintaining 75mph in 8th, get good mileage (23-24) and it has no issues on Moab. Really, in 4 low, it idles up lot of the obstacles offroad.
I could feel a difference in acceleration when comparing mine on 37s...
Absolutely. Here is the Taco. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun with it.
And here is what replaced it:
Day 1, and about 20 miles of ownership:
And with a little flex in Moab after I got the diamondback and tent on.
I came from a 19 Tacoma TRD-OR to a ecodiesel Willy's gladiator with Mopar 2" lift and 37's, and I couldn't be happier.
The tacoma was fun, but always underwhelming with the engine not making any power until 3500rpm and the transmission being the absolute worst I've ever had in a vehicle...
I live in Vegas and where I camp it is generally uneven and rocky. I've found it very easy and quick to put a couple rocks under tires to level the jeep, and the tent is deployed in under a minute.
I'm able to camp comfortably in places that I would never be able to use a ground tent due to...
My diesel is on 37's and I really don't see any need to regear. I'm averaging 23 in the winter, 24 in the summer. No problem maintaining 8th on highway at 75, hills it drops to 7th like it should. Plenty of torque for acceleration, and in 4low on obstacles it idles up a surprising amount of...
I have the SE and it is plenty stout for what I do with it (mount a rooftop tent). I had no intentions on carrying an ATV on too, so the HD with it's extra weight didn't provide any benefit to me.
Anyway, it's a quality product. It is more expensive than other hard tonneaus, but not by that...
I don't know what to say, I've always gotten either at or above the started had mileage with my vehicles, regardless of the vehicle.
Even if my diesel gladiator got the 18mpg of the anemic Tacoma it replaced, I'd be thrilled with it. I love the sound, the grunt, and the effortless low rpm...
I've gotten more compliments on this than any other vehicle I've driven. This was written on the drink cup at the drive through the other day, the girl that made it couldn't have been more than 18 (which is why I'll forgive calling it a car).
