i keep my cars looking factory new. But i use them, mine has been covered in mud, sand, etc. Floor mats had an inch of sand in them. But if you looked you'd think it's never been off the pavement. LOL takes hours to detail at that level, but once done just some upkeep till next off road event...
What I do is, when the jeep is upside down, I flip the rear view mirror over so everything looks right side up, that way I can figure out how to get out of the situation easier. :giggle:
My understanding is, all of the "add-ons" are done in Mopar's custom shop, they go to it after production to get their mods done. Like spray in bedliners, and the upgrades to Rubicon and Mojave, etc. Rubicon X will get it's Bilstein shocks, Mojave gets it's fox shocks, etc. At least that's my...
Agree to a point, I think it's more useful for someone thinking about upgrading, or buying one, just making sure they are not getting ripped off kind of thing. Like not a bad thing to see what guys are getting them for, and different models, etc.

Well I'm that way with mustangs. LOL I"m on my 12th stang.
This is my 4th jeep I"ve owned. YJ, TJ, JK, JT (i didn't own the TJ very long) But have owned a bunch of other 4x4 trucks. Like 15-20mpg in these things (sold front axle) is not bad.
So what was the purpose of buying a butt terrible truck at gas milage, tiny bed, to do some plywood hauling? Seems like a waste of money to run it just for some street stuff.
Yeah, I'm not trying to destroy it lol
Just that there are trails the jeep is what you want. The Gladiator handles jeep trails just fine. Can get high centered on some stuff, and some of the mountain jeep trails have some tight turns that can get sketchy, but for the most part it does great...
Well I sure as heck didn't buy a gladiator to haul around plywood. I mean cool it can do it, but it's not the purpose and there are far better trucks for that stuff.
I needed somewhere softer for the wife to sleep in on the trails at night. :CWL: Dunno what you fellas be hauling around...
Should my factory lifted rubby on 33's with 4.10s be getting better then 15-17? NO bro, be glad it gets over 10mpg! :CWL:
It's like I'm the only older guy here who had lifted YJ's TJ's and stuff. Man a lifted JY on 33's with 4.10 gears? WE would have DIED for 15mpg. :CWL::CWL::CWL::CWL:
Well, you're right, lol but not because I have not done it. But don't worry, I'll be making a trip to Washington state towards the end of June this year, I'll get you plenty with the gladiator mojave, because we'll be hanging out in Montrose CO and there are so many badass trails around there...
That's apples to oranges, who cares. Can they go down a jeep trail on the side of a mountain and not come out the other side with their fenders all beat to crap? LOL
" He wants to be more diverse, bring in fresh ideas, create more of a truck from the start."
Dude if he means make it more like a ford raptor ranger I'mma be so pissed. No it must stay a jeep. We don't want a full bodied truck, we want a jeep with a bed that does close to the same as a jeep. We...
You can't compare the engines apples to apples, but you can compare them work for work. The diesel is much better for towing because it can put out the same amount of work as the gas engine, but at a much lower rpm and that would mean same work, less wear. Was my point on the diesel. It's made...
Agree and disagree.
RPM does still matter. If you have two identical trucks, one diesel and one gas, pulling and identical load for testing purposes, the diesel will do it with lower rpm being used. It is the same amount of "work" being done.
RPM is the method in which an engine wears. Higher...
