  1. Death Wobble & front suspension inspection explained! [Video]

Totally agree. Been a Jeep owner of a 2017 JK with a 4.5ā€ lift for two years and got my 2021 Glad last July. Feel like there’s a Jeep expert around every corner and they all have a different opinion. Nothing is learned through success, so I’ll keep failing and eventually become an expert too...
  2. Death Wobble & front suspension inspection explained! [Video]

@Lunentucker has a great thread going with the first link in the reply to my post, this is the lead video on it and I agree, it’s good. The only issue I have with the video is that the toe out recommendation covers up the actual source of the wobble itself. Gives a false sense of ā€œproblem...
  3. 22 Gladiator Overland - Death Wobble? Where to go from here

Not normal. Have them check for loose fittings and torque down all connection points in the front steering/suspension from the steering box to the tie rod. Also check the wheels for balance. Unless you beat you jeep, to early for bad bushings. My guess is you got it with a couple bolts...
  4. Trading a 2022 High Altitude for a 2021 Rubicon diesel?

BTW, I also live in WI and think the cold weather package would be tough to give up….!!
  5. Trading a 2022 High Altitude for a 2021 Rubicon diesel?

Wouldn’t do it. I’d spend a couple bucks and go to 4:10 gearing on the HA. I’ve read a fair number that had overheating issues with the diesel while towing, particularly in the mountains and overall I think the 3.6 will be more reliable. I have an HA and actually considered the same as I...
  6. Jeep Gladiator value in the toilet

Upgraded model with better gadgets and a bigger screen coming out. Dealers are offloading inventory due to that and probably many are also likely lowering on hand inventory at the same time to reduce carry costs if the economy goes down, which is likely. From my perspective, it’s expected...
  7. Death Wobble & front suspension inspection explained! [Video]

VERY much appreciated and have used your thread @Lunentucker in researching my issue. I like this video because of its simplicity and point by point connections staring basically at the steering wheel. The only issue I have with the video on your thread was that the toe out recommendation can...
  8. Death Wobble & front suspension inspection explained! [Video]

I have looked for a good educational video on the steering suspension system and think I found a gem. The video is older and uses a JK suspension, but the suspension has the same parts, different engineering. He walks through the various parts, explains what each does functionally and then...
  9. Any experience with Clayton’s 1.5” Leveling Kit?

@Teqsand I have a steal bumper and winch that I’ll be putting on which will give it a little rake but I like the look leveled. I use it as a utility vehicle on the weekends but rarely have a load in it. 95% of the time the most weight I have in it are a set of golf clubs. Till I’m done...
  10. Who's Jeep is this?

No ill will intended, though you may think so momentarily. Your getting sh-t because this is a colossal waste of everyone’s time on this forum. You said you want to ask a question of a fellow owner but won’t state what your concern is…. Ok wait, you did give a cue, it’s a ā€œtouchy topic.ā€ WTF...
  11. Any experience with Clayton’s 1.5” Leveling Kit?

Currently have a spacer/puck style leveling kit on a High Altitude w/ Rubi suspension. Pretty sure the spacer lift threw off my casterand rather and screw around with it, ordered the Clayton 1.5ā€ leveling kit with the adjustable control arms etc. I am a very handy guy and am not worried about...
  12. Making a quieter truck, where to start?

The one caution I would tell you is, if you plan on using the satellite radio, know where your antenna is and don’t you sound deadening over it. It will block the signal periodically and you will not be happy.. Other than that…amazing.
  13. Making a quieter truck, where to start?

Agreed. Posted a while back the difference Coverking made when paired with sound deadening on the fiberglass cap. Looks incredible as well...
  14. Making a quieter truck, where to start?

Here is what I did…. Start with the top. Made a big difference. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/coverking-headliner-installed-with-sound-deadening-material-lowered-sound-decibels-in-cabin-significantly.69577/
  15. Jeep to stop stocking popular gas models in Delaware ( no politics please)

Fact: They day after stating there would be no gas powered vehicles (lawnmowers!) sold in CA after a certain date…the CA power company asked its customers not to charge their cars. ? Fact: Many of the fires brought on by ā€œGlobal Warmingā€ are the result of poor electrical infrastructure...
  16. Jeep to stop stocking popular gas models in Delaware ( no politics please)

You can’t post this and say, no politics. The action itself is the result of a political agenda, democrat controlled states enacting environmental laws & regulations. There is literally nothing to this post that is not political! What else is there to talk about here? Maybe I’ll start a...
  17. Mixed feelings…the good with the bad of Jeep ownership

Don’t know that I’ve noticed that. Maybe they look smaller because you’re bigger! But if you’re right maybe they’ll add some to the endangered species list and not let us drive through areas to protect the locusts. I do notice a lot that weren’t here when I was younger. Stink bugs...
  18. Can anyone post their setup with wheel spacers?

@Wheelin98TJ that looks great. I’ve got the HA with 1.75ā€ spacers as well but still have the stock tires. Seeing that makes me look forward to another 20k when I need new tires….
  19. Mixed feelings…the good with the bad of Jeep ownership

I have a 4 Hour drive home today from a meeting, it’s gonna be between 75 and 80° and I’m excited to take the freedom panels off and just enjoy the ride!!! But as excited as I am for the warm weather, I’m equally not looking forward to this brick with wheels attracting every bug within a 1 mile...
  20. WOW - What an IMPACT !

I use the Earthquake XT and the 90 degree Hercules from Harbor Freight. Don’t know how I lived without them…. For ā€˜home garage’ wrenching its worth it. If I was a mechanic, I’d blow the extra for a big name but for my once or twice a month need, highly recommended!
