  1. SkyJacker 2.50-Inch Metal Coil Spring Spacer Lift Kit with Shock Extensions

I hear you @Jbruss08, wasn’t trying to sound like a condescending dick, reading it back I kinda did…it comes natural to me.. ? I’ve overdone it once or twice too. Rented an backhoe earlier this year that tested the limits. 10 miles @ 45 mph was all I did. What you describe is probably fine...
  2. SkyJacker 2.50-Inch Metal Coil Spring Spacer Lift Kit with Shock Extensions

Short distances a couple times on flat land to the lake, probably won’t have long term affects. To do anything more than that and you’ll be prematurely replacing your transmission, maybe driveshaft and get WAY less out of your engine due to how hard it be would working. You severely reduce the...
  3. 2024 Tacoma - Here’s The New Competition! ? Hybrid Model Added ?

You are not wrong…but….the Gladiators future does not depend on off-road capability, it depends on improving its marketability. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Gladiator! However, after I put 120k on it in four years of work use (hwy driving) I plan to drop a 392 or hurricane engine into it and...

When the zombie apocalypse comes, you’re going to be doing fine! Love it…!
  5. Coverking headliner installed with sound deadening material. Lowered sound decibels in cabin significantly

Siles worked great for me, no idea on the others. One of the deadening companies had a square feet calculator but bought enough to do the doors and floor. You can get a close estimate by multiplying the width and length of the roof you’ll be covering and adding 10-20%. 120 mil, used 3 sheets...
  6. Coverking headliner installed with sound deadening material. Lowered sound decibels in cabin significantly

80 mil on the freedom panels and 80 mil on the top and 120 on the sides of the back cover. In hindsight I probably could have done 120 mil on the freedom panels if I took my time too but it does affect the fit of the CoverKing and would add a lot of weight to it.

  8. Coverking headliner installed with sound deadening material. Lowered sound decibels in cabin significantly

Happy wife, happy life. I uploaded a video of the decibel level while driving in the rain @ 70. Radio sounds much better , 67 decibels in the rain. Huge improvement…. If that’s your wife’s one complaint, this might be the fix. Once I do the floors it should get pretty quiet….

  11. Coverking headliner installed with sound deadening material. Lowered sound decibels in cabin significantly

I hear you on the calls for business, that’s exactly why I am doing it. Cover a multi state territory, I love my gladiator, but I need to be able to work from it. I believe someone else in this thread said that they relocated the XM antenna by the sunvisor are basically right up in front. I’d...
  12. SkyJacker 2.50-Inch Metal Coil Spring Spacer Lift Kit with Shock Extensions

If you’re planning to tow after putting 37s on, first thing you’re going to need to do is re-gear! Think about starting to pedal up hill from a stop on high gear. Exact same thing. You will lose all your torque and power. i bought mine from a guy that had 36s on and wanted to tow his 6k ski...
  13. Coverking headliner installed with sound deadening material. Lowered sound decibels in cabin significantly

Great point. Read about that prior but didn’t think about it while doing it. Guess I won’t be getting it in the near future!
  14. Coverking headliner installed with sound deadening material. Lowered sound decibels in cabin significantly

Attention to the end customers experience with an install like this is good business, purely constructive feedback. Regardless, just drove to the office in a pretty good rain and I could hear the radio without turning it up…. ? I’m a happy Jeeper and got a great end result. Cheers!
  15. Coverking headliner installed with sound deadening material. Lowered sound decibels in cabin significantly

Note to Coverking…. The only issue I have is a lack of clear directions. I realize you’re probably a small business but a simple instruction sheet with tips & tricks for the install. Maybe a follow-up email post order placement with links to good install resources or videos. It would go a...
  16. Coverking headliner installed with sound deadening material. Lowered sound decibels in cabin significantly

Yes and yes. You’ll want to have plenty of additional adhesive. It’s mounded to fit perfectly. The thicker the deadener, the more you’ll have to stretch or smash it into place in areas.. No other way to put it but when you do it you’ll know exactly what I mean…. I think a spray adhesive one...
