I'd say there's probably bias, like there will likely be bias from anyone's response here - mine included.
A few things that jump out at me:
He is a mechanic, and as such he ONLY sees vehicles when they have problems.
He lives in Kansas, and the demographic is likely skewed to the American...
No trouble. It's just the uniqueness stuff that's pretty manual. Thankfully the previous one I did was a good testing ground, and I just wrote code to automate it based on the manual process - always good to do it once by hand.
Regarding manual Nacho Rubicons...
I currently know of 73 manual...
You can say that again.
That's the ONE thing I'm disappointed in. I like my hard top, but all my other Jeeps have been soft tops, and the convenience of a soft top is so amazing. I'd buy one and have dual tops, if it were not for how they fold back. I'm not a huge fan.
Damned if I do, and...
A few different places. The production totals are from Window Stickers and Build Sheets. Other data comes from pricing guides, or other sources. As of right now, I'm sitting on stats for 93.79% of the 2021 Gladiator production, and have over 17 GB of data stored & processed.
Thanks guys.
sorry, I’ve been busy the past few days. I hope to get similar info for everyone soon. Currently it’s a very manual process, plus missing data, so I wouldn’t want to get ahead of myself.
Almost there.
Am I to understand that you purchase a used 2021 Gladiator that had about 300 miles on the clock, and it was already modded (including gears)?
I know a few local dealers install mods on new vehicles to help up the price. There's a chance these were installed by a dealer themselves before it was...
Depends on the bank.
As others have said, some banks absolutely will cut you a check that you use. However, some banks - especially larger ones - have dealer connections already (as they're already setup for the dealer's in-house system), and once you're approved they pull up your details in...
Thanks for that VIN. I'd actually misinterpreted your statement to say "leather", thinking primarily about the tan leather that's optional on Rubicons. My bad. I see your VIN in here now.
I hope to have a tool soon where you all can get even more detail stats about your specific vehicles, but...
Agreed. Insurance is my preferred way to "solve" this problem. My glass deductible is part of my standard deductible, but it was literally not that much more expensive to pay for a $50 deductible on my auto policy. Now if my window chips, or if there's an accident, I know my max out of pocket is...
Absolutely!
I just added that - if you refresh you should see it now.
That said, the data for transmission is even more funky. It's mostly non-American stuff that needs to be normalized. French data, different names for the same thing in different markets, etc.
Unknowns for all stats are...
Indeed - though, I will say, I still need to do some data clean up. Sport Ss in particular appear to have been misidentified, as I'm showing an unreasonably low count of that trim level.
I was actually going to run some stats and tell you how unique it was - based on current (incomplete)...
I could take a picture at the pump, and show you how it's cheaper, but I know that's not what you're asking.
As to how a subsidy makes any sense... well, that's a sunk cost. Everyone's already paying it, whether they make use of the subsidized product or not, so might as well enjoy the lower...
Your statement is a little misleading, as the manual recommends gasoline with 15% or less ethanol. E-10 gasoline - which is what you commonly see - is 100% fine per the owner's manual, and as long as you're regularly driving your vehicle there's literally no harm to a modern fuel system.
Interestingly enough, you're right. Whereas over 6% of all 2021 Gladiators are Firecracker Red, barely 4% of '21 Mojaves are.
To put this in perspective, there are just a few hundred Firecracker Red Mojaves.
Yeah, no way I'd buy something like that from Amazon. WAY too many shady sellers, and return scams. Hell, I can't even get Amazon to proper package and ship household goods - I sure as heck ain't trusting them with anything more valuable.
Yukon makes good gears. I ran them in my JK with no...
The thing Jeep gave away was a promo given away to those who factory ordered a Launch Edition Gladiator during the 2020 model year. That's why there is interest in this cool fan-made collectable.
