yep they work flawlessly and were super simple to swap (probably the easiest mod to add thus far). Just make sure you have a longer T20 torq screwdriver. I wasnt sure I had one and bought one on amazon for 6 bucks (LINK HERE) However I really didnt need it since my harbor freight torx drivers...
Finally got mine mounted, they make the setup look a lot better as I hate the cheap black plastic ones that were on before. Not to mention they wont stain from waxing either like the black ones did.
yes that was me actually and no they are not at all. The stock and the premium are the same speakers. Got in a debate with several people about it as well. Others checked as well and it was confirmed that the speakers are the same between the alpine and the stock. Its just the amp and sub that...
I have the ”upgraded” alpine package and its garbage. The onlt difference between the standard and the alpine premium is the addiction of an amplifier and a subwoofer. I ripped out all the speakers (dash, foot well, sound bar) and replaced them with actual good alpine speakers. Left the amp and...
dont Let the news fool you they are now lacking parts but not due to COVID. And they have a 4+ week supply of parts for new gladiators to roll off the line. There are thousands waiting in manufacturing lot waiting to be transported. A lot of companies and industries are using the COVID pandemic...
jeep/Chrysler/gm/Ford etc are not having parts issues. This is well documented actually. The simple fact is they’d rather build and sell a new car than fix yours. Jeep’s are a big seller now and every new one sold is more money for jeep. it just makes more sense for the bottom line. Regardless...
Truck looks awesome and I’m confident you won’t have issues Outside of poor gas mileage. God speed though my jeeping brother. Ride those trails into the afterlife!!!
I’m going to play devils advocate here and say my diesel experience with both a ram and wrangler was horrific. My ram was the original eco diesel that had a litany of issues. However my jlu was the more recent revision [2019] and was a total disaster as well. Ran rough, horribly sluggish and had...
That is ridiculous. If the manufacturer doesnt have the parts to Support their vehicles they shouldn’t continue building new ones Plain and simple. Manufacturers are using COVID excuse as a crutch to bide their time. If they’re able to get parts to build a litany of new ones they could easily...
this was my first mod and it was a nightmare to install. Wiring management was crap and getting it all installed took a whole weekend. However they work great now and haven’t had any issues.
length is fine for towing it. you would more than likely need to refurbish or upgrade the hitch and use a modern tow controller. if it has the Chevy 454 or 460 in it than it will tow the gladiator fine. Fam used to have a 88ish 32 foot allegro and it towed a k5 blazer which was about 6k+ pounds...
You’re best bet is private party. Dealer and all other retail buyers are not going to pay top dollar as they have to make money on it as well. If you’re going into anther jeep like a wrangler you could probably squeeze more out of a dealer. What are you looking for as a replacement?
