I do feel like they could have just given us a 7-spd. 911s have them, so why not a 7spd manual Gladiator? It could get rid of that huge gap from 2-3...
I feel the same about the clutch at start. Nine times out of ten, I go off smoothly, but every now and then I am jerky-jerky or just flat stall it. Annoys me. Now, that thing has killed my son's confidence totally, and I cannot get him to drive it again. :(
He won't drive the Porsche...
WOW! Hydro Blue was my first choice, but my son talked me into the Bright White which I am happy with; I got my red interior! :involve: Of course the other day, I saw a Blue Panamera red interior...  These Hydro Blue Gladiators look beautiful!
In all the photos I took, not one shows it, but there is a split in the air bag door on the backside. It is reinforced and hinged so that the airbag will deploy through the panel with the panel supposedly just hinging out of the way.
Why? I’ve been thinking about getting a convertible. I’ve also thought having a truck might be handy. So, the idea of a topless truck was too much. LOL! :CWL: Besides, my daughter thinks it’s ugly, so being a good mom I am tormenting her.
Spent a little time with Gladriel. Really could have used a man’s muscle but I managed. :involve: Got the leather trim dash installed so Gladriel looks proper.
I was wondering where the two-gear gap was between the 8 spd auto and 6 spd manual. That jump from 1 to 2 and again from 2 to 3 makes it hard to keep the milage decent compared to the automatics; especially in stop-n-go traffic. I am glad the top end gears are as good. Thanks for the post. :involve:
Reverse does take getting used to. It IS entertaining backing up a drive with a trailer especially if there's an incline and a the trailer has a tongue brake. :giggle: I am always more afraid to give it too much gas, but I am mostly used to it now. My dad drove it and made me laugh about how...
I have just over 3,700 on mine and am sitting at 19mpg avg. That includes towing a fully loaded Uhaul from Cleveland to Chicago (16 mpg on that trip no 6th gear use), a trip from Cleveland to Philadelphia and back, a trip from Chicago to Cleveland and back, and city diving which kills my mileage...
