  1. My Red Leather Interior

LOL! I like that. Semi-custom. Yes. @Woo it is done as @Oscar Indy says through the dealer and the installers have the skin patterns and some colors in stock. Mine had to be cut and took a few extra days. This Overland had nearly everything I wanted except the leather interior which gave me the...
  2. 2,500 mile manual transmission report

Yeah. I too have done it. In Germany, their traffic lights do this beautiful thing where the yellow light comes on with the red light just before the it goes green. Been missing that. Anyhow, I just pay better attention to the light cycle, and I’ve come to love my auto start/stop. It’s an art.
  3. My Red Leather Interior

Thanks, but nah. I have the stitching in the seats to match the dash. Plus, door panels and steering wheel stitching all match that.
  4. My Red Leather Interior

I wasn’t sure about that red stitching comment, but I just looked at a 911 with red seats and red stitching on a black dash; it is quite sharp. I did briefly consider putting the red dash panels in, but I really wanted the more elegant look of the Overland leather panels.
  5. My Red Leather Interior

So, someone asked me if I could share some photos of my red leather interior. I've been wanting to shoot some new ones, but my travel schedule is making that difficult. So, here are a few from early on. :involve: And one with my revised dash.
  6. What is your Jeep History?

Rode in my uncle’s CJ-7 as a kid... Nearly bought a long-bed Comanche on several occasions just because I always thought they were neat... First Jeep, 2020 Gladiator. :involve: This is my fist truck since selling the 2001 Sierra D-Max in 2004 because life wasn’t letting me use it properly.
  7. PIGH (Plug-In Gladiator Hybrid) JT Club

I am interested in that as a farm truck once they make an HD. It would be perfect for hauling the gooseneck to the parks for trail rides etc.
  8. PIGH (Plug-In Gladiator Hybrid) JT Club

Funny you mention that. I was running through my head, on the flight to Phoenix last night, how one could pull off a fully electric Gladiator. LOL! Getting the batteries and motors hermetically sealed without adding a crap ton of weight seems like a fun problem to solve.:clap:
  9. PIGH (Plug-In Gladiator Hybrid) JT Club

Ok. THIS might actually make me regret my Gladiator. :brokenhearted: A PHEV Gladiator? I’d be never using gas going to work! :involve:
  10. 2,500 mile manual transmission report

LOL! My other vehicles are an Audi and a Porsche (albeit a very underpowered one), and one thing I love about the Gladiator is that I’m "slow" now! ;)
  11. Hydro Blue Rubicon with grey dash

Well then, that grey dash that I removed from my Overland might be desirable. :CWL:
  12. So, what is everybody towing?

Yep, I’ve done some towing with mine. Does quite fine. :involve:
  13. BRIGHT WHITE Gladiator JT Club

Coverts, right? That’s what I am wanting, but probably going with bronze since there is no gunmetal or machined option.
  14. SHOW ME YOUR WHEELS!

Do you have a lift, or are the highline fenders making it look a bit off to me? I was looking at my Overland and thinking that set up could work. Been struggling with 20s on a Jeep, but I have to be honest; my Gladiator is more of a truck than a Jeep. My stock tires are already taller than my...
  15. Family build but my son might be too young...

The bed rail system was the only other thing I didn’t get added yet. Been thinking about adding one.
  16. For Those with a Manual... Care to Comment?

    It’s an Overland, so 3.73.
  17. For Those with a Manual... Care to Comment?

The 2-3 jump is annoying, but you get used to it more or less. I still feel a 7-spd would be preferable to take care of that. Starting is imperfect, but I’m not expecting a German car sort of feel out of this thing. I’ve towed a couple of different trailers with mine; it does very well under...
  18. Chicago suburbs

Easy enough to make that mistake. Always considered myself a Midwestern girl (Ohio), but I love the Lakes. Anyhow, just moved to Elmhurst a little over a month ago, and also have an Overland. :like:
  19. Favorite modification? (Fun thread)

My interior! :involve: How many Gladiators have you seen with red leather inside?
  20. 2,500 mile manual transmission report

I like being able to let him drive on long trips or when I’m tired. Besides, once I sell the Allroad, the 944 and Gladiator will be the only options left. ... Now, I need to get my daughter to learn! :fingerscrossed:
