I heard that Caravan Campers out of Reno was retooling their Gladiator cap. Caravan Campers makes the caps for the Border Patrol and many other government groups. They are top notch, but their Gladiator design looks terrible.

Has anyone just removed the entire plastic grill and see what happens?
I am over here in Arizona and it has been like 110 for the last 30-45 days... I am thinking about covering my house with the new grills and sitting back and enjoying the temperature difference. J/K of course.
My dealer still says it will be a software fix; however, they are having trouble getting approval from the EPA. They have sign-off from Bosch, but EPA is dragging their feet, that is just what I was told from my service guy.
They are just going to turn off CPC and PCV modes let MPROP control...

I was told by my service advisor that Bosch says the pumps are within spec and the issue is not theirs. This is the same stance they have taken with other auto manufacturers like VW, Ford, etc... This is supposedly why it is taking so long, everyone is jockeying for position. If Bosch falls here...

There is more information on this somewhere on this forum, maybe in this very thread, I don't know. There is also an aftermarket company that does the same programming.
