He said they are "take offs" from some dealer package that comes with both tops. He says that they won't show a new Jeep with a soft top on it. I am betting if you look, you will find a listing for one now in Glendale, AZ.
I have seen a thread somewhere on this "Software Update". One of the aftermarket tuners came up with this, I can't remember which one, and it just turns something off. I am trying to find the post now.
Hot Tip!! Look in Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, or even Craigslist for a "Jeep" labeled take-off.
I have no idea where they come from but I was able to get mine from Facebook Marketplace for $200. I met the seller at a gas station and showed up wearing a Mopar Service uniform. He installed it...
My Rubicon EcoDiesel Gladiator started giving me all sorts of error codes and sometimes won't start if it has been sitting for a day or two without driving.
It sometimes says Water in Fuel, sometimes says it is preheating, sometimes says low voltage, etc... There is no water in the fuel, I have...
@813 Fabrication & Design - First, thanks for supporting this community and being so active here. It is appreciated.
I have a diesel Rubicon JT and want onboard air, but don't really want it mounted on the inside. I think we talked once about mounting the system above the spare tire, but being...
I believe Hauk is out of business now. AEV just released theirs and are currently working the bugs out of their system. With a forward facing intake at the top of the snorkel some people are experiencing CEL's. By simply reversing the direction some state the problem is now gone...
The 4xOverland guy definitely complicates stuff, but he is also operating a different level being out in the middle of nowhere for long periods at at time.
I like the Renogy stuff. It seems well thought out, is affordable, and tested to work.
There have been a couple posts on this. I can't find them, but at least one refers to it as the "Other Bumper from Mopar" or something to that extent.

@chorky what you are saying is incorrect though, at least in a sense... first, you don't have to use lithium.. run whatever battery you want, they are isolated systems through the dc-dc controller. You can mix batteries because they are isolated through the charger/controller. You can run the...
@Dan Grec thanks for all the great insight! One question that you might be able to explain to me is what the heck the Egon DC hub does? Is it similar to the Renogy unit? I can't figure out why it is so expensive or why I need it.

With the proper DC/DC charger they can be linked to your stock system. They are isolated of course, but the stock charging system can charge the other system. You can use a system like this with whatever batteries you want. You have to specify the battery type in the charge controller. They can...
Here is a video of his system... I don't know Dan, but have had conversations with him here, Facebook, and on YouTube, and can say that his methodology and reasoning are very well thought out.
@Dan Grec is in my opinion the most qualified to comment on this. He lived with his system for a year all over Australia. He left the stock system alone and just added a Renogy charge controller and a house battery and a small solar panel.

You have seen the Pizza Cutters thread? There are a lot of folks running the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T in 35X10 or 255/85R17.
