Hopefully this forces Ford into offering the 2.7 Eco in the Ranger. That would be a little beast.

The 2023 ZR2 is what I was planning on trading for but have liked the Gladiator for a while and thought I would try one out until I knew whether I wanted the ZR2 or not. I had good luck with the 2018 Z71 Colorado and the 2021 GMC Canyon AT4 which I traded for the Hellcat Challenger that I just traded on the Gladiator. The Hp and Tq and the new interior is what I really like about the newer Colorado and Canyon. GM has been way behind in the interior design and their infotainment centers have been a decade behind for a while.

Haha Joe service manager lol, nice! They sure do come in a lot of varieties, my GM service experience was really good, but I was there for repeat issues with the DEF system, until they had no parts available and nothing could be done. Let's be realistic, Jeeps are in shops just as much as the competition out there. And no other rigs are susceptible to death wobble!

I suggest all you haters/Jeep fanboys take a test drive in the new ZR2 once they hit the lots.

Ya we all like the option to take the doors off, can't argue there, I really like it! My ZR2 on 33's was a better performer stock than my Mojave on 35's. But those doors again haha.

The Gladiator and ZR2 leave Toyota and Nissan way back at the mall somewhere!! (I've had two lifted Tacoma's but no Nissan, not into low riders).

Sure the aftermarket support for Jeep products is insane! But for those that don't want to get wild I'd bet the new ZR2 will fit the Micky Thompson 35x10's with minor plastic trimming at most.

Owned a Colorado in Australia where they are a BIG truck hahaha.

It was nice. Compared to the Ranger, I'd have a Colorado any day. No real comparison between the Gladiator and any other truck in my opinion. They are just not build to do the same thing

As a former Ridgeline owner, it really is the best midsize truck out there. It gets a lot of hate, but it's a great truck for the majority of people. It was much nicer hauling wood, and the 'trunk' was more handy than I expected. I also enjoyed driving for long distances. Hell, I might end up owning one again once the Gladiator graduates to my secondary vehicle and I need a new primary.

The Gladiator is a Jeep with a truck bed, not a truck with a jeep wrapper. How many times have people come to the forum asking if they should get a Gladiator only to even have us forum members tell them to get a truck…. You buy a gladiator if you want a Jeep and like the benefit the Gladiator brings, not if you NEED a truck but want a Jeep…! personally I think you buy this chevy if you want a truck with muscle. Totally different…

That said, it’s pretty but not for me as a primary….

Wife cam out into the garage last night and observed I was taking measurements of the garage.......she said, What are you doing? I replied, taking measurements for a 4 post lift. All she said was ok, is it going to fit? Told her that's why I'm measuring LOL

I made sure I was wrenching on or in shops from the day we met.........so there was no surprises when I work on something for me, a friend or customer.
