That's funny because the Discount near my house told me they would mount 12.5's on a stock 7.5" rim. I even called back to double check. I have Yokohama MT's on order in a 35x12.50 and plan on using my stock wheels.
Those look good. How much abuse can the stock rails hold up to I wonder? The trails up in the NW mostly consist of mud with tight trees and roots. Im thinking the stock rails should be fine.
Does anyone sell a do it yourself slider rail that just needs to be welded on? Im an experienced welder but unfortunately dont have access to a tube bender. I just want a kit with bent tubing to weld to my stock rubicon sliders.
Im not sure which bumpstops came with your Teraflex spacer. Bumpstops are used to keep your tires from rubbing on your fenders so it depends on what size tires you are running. You’ll need to dial that in if you are concerned about rubbing.
Anybody have any experience with the Icon 1.5” rear springs? I’m looking for 2 inches maximum lift to replace my Mojave springs. Thinking of pairing them with the front Clayton 1.5” springs. Icon doesn’t make a front 1.5 and Clayton doesn’t make a rear 1.5. Seems like someone would make a more...
Try using a jack under the axle housing where the pinion hole would be. Pushing that up rotates the axle forward and pushes the arm towards the rear. And keep the ratchet strap tight.
Might be best to ask Iron Rock the shock questions. As for the rest, nothing else is "technically" needed. Would it be nice to have the correct amount of bumpstop, trac bars, and some way to correct caster? That all depends on how you want your jeep to drive.
I'm in the same boat, as I prefer not to use spacers. Most kits from what I have researched will give more lift than advertised. If you aren't running heavy bumpers, winch, etc. then expect to get at least 3 inches maybe more from the Evo coils. Again, from the info I have gathered. I've been...
No personal experience with the Fabtech lift, but from what I've read on this forum, you'll get almost 3.5 inches out of it. I may just end up with a spacer lift myself.
