Yeah, they attach just like the nets do. You have to remove the door panel, drill the plastic rivets out, remove the net and frame, and then they attach in place of them using the same mounting points and push nuts. I should have taken a picture of the back before I put it back together.
You shouldn't need an alignment, just recenter your steering wheel. One suggestion I would make is to add the Mopar lift kit LCAs as well. I added them to mine and it definitely helped the steering feel better with the added caster. You can pickup a pair for $60-70.
Brand new set of Diode Dynamics clear LED side marker lights for a JL Wrangler or JT Gladiator. Box was only opened to inspect them, but they were never removed from the box or installed. Knew they are $99, asking $50 for them. I can hand off in Front Royal/Winchester VA or during the week in...
The glass is covered for 3/36k, if someone told you different, they are incorrect. Mine and many others in this thread have been fixed beyond 1/12k but before 3/36k.
I can't speak to the Badlands specifically, but on my Warn Evo it's a ton of difference. Nothing rubs the grille anymore, and I can easily slide the grille in and out without having to move the winch.
I saw a set for sale over on the JL forum, he's in MA:
Massachusetts - Snazzberry Mopar Half doors with premium uppers , never used still in boxes $4500 | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) -- Rubicon, 4xe, 392, Sahara, Sport - JLwranglerforums.com
There's also a set for sale on eBay, but that...
I agree with all your comments, except the very last part. Most states require trailer brakes for anything 3000 pounds or over and I certain you wouldn’t hesitate to tow a 3000 pound trailer with a Gladiator. Additionally a lot of us have off road campers in the 2000-3000 pound range that also...
So a lot of people are going to dismiss it as not important, but any increase in unsprung weight will definitely have an effect on your truck. I recent went from 71 pound 35's to 65 pound 37's. Upon putting on the lighter tires, my fuel mileage increased 1-2 MPG and the truck felt similar to how...
They didn't stop in 2022, they are still available on the newest ones. It's also an option on every model except the Launch Edition, which includes it as part of the package.
I find the sound quality to be pretty good, especially for a speaker I'm using outdoors while doing stuff or camping.
I’ve done multiple of these updates to mine, it’s a pretty easy and straightforward process. There is a couple places out there that have multiple versions of the firmware.
It's just a fluid change on all 3. Technically though they're recommending it at the wrong mileage. Per the owners manual it should be 40k for the diffs and 60k for the transfer case. It is something you should do for longevity.
I approve of this message, but I’m biased because I’ve been running them for 3 summers now.
I have a Harken Hoister and store the top in the ceiling all summer. Between the 9’ ceilings and being over the bed, it works out perfectly.
Based on this website, I think you need a different center section. They list 7HQ99RXFAA as the correct one for having a camera. The camera bracket/retainer part number is correct, and you will definitely need it as the old one will not fit. I reused the screws from the old retainer on the new...
I said the same thing with my C rated 37’s and 4.10’s, but now with the 5.13’s it’s a day and night difference in it. So much better acceleration without a penalty on the highway. Holds 7th and 8th all the time down on my runs to and from Northern Virginia for work. Its way more pleasurable to...
One thing you might want to consider is gearing. My truck is pretty light overall and did OK with 35’s and 4.10’s, but honestly could have benefited from gears with the 35’s since they were E rated and a smidge heavy. I’d your going to load it with a camper or pull a trailer, you’re probably...
