So I wasn’t happy with the shock bolts due to the lack of threads protruding past the nut. I did some research and located a longer bolt from a different FCA vehicle that was the same size and thread pitch. I ordered 2 of those and swapped them out today, much better now.
Another vote for Mopar. I just like that it looks like it belongs in the truck. Another point that gets glossed over is that it illuminates which makes it easier to see at night. The Redarc is a good choice too, I had it before the Mopar one came out, and moved it over to our Durango since it...
I’ve only had these in my garage for 3 years, but finally got around to installing my Rock Hard 4x4 LCA skids on the axles and frame ends. Also installed a set of Mopar lift LCAs to give me a bit more caster with my TF leveling kit.
Sucks it’s a broken harness, but glad you found it. It’s starting to become a lot more common as these get some age on them and people keep opening and closing the door.
Good condition set of Maxline brand floor liner for Gladiator. I've had them in my truck since it was new, but recently switched to Armorlite flooring and no longer need these. They are $130 new, I'd like to get $50 for them. I can meet you around Front Royal, VA, or Manassas/Chantilly Va areas...
Check your door harness too. I've seen a few, depending on the age of the truck, end up with a broken wire inside the door harness from opening and closing the door. The bending and unbending of the wires eventually causes them to fail.
That chart is totally incorrect for a JL/JT with the 8 speed auto. Here’s the right one for our trucks:
I just did 5.13’s on mine with 37’s and I’m very happy. I’m turning about 2250 RPM with mine at 72-74 MPH. Fuel mileage is still good, 18-19, which is about what I was getting with the...
They are $680 normally but they were on sale for 10% off. I’m not sure what glitch happened when I ordered from Quadratec, but they applied a 10% forum discount on top of the already discounted price, so I got them for 20% off.
Shoutout to all the folks here and on Facebook that gave install tips to help out. I did my install today and it was 2.5-3 hours from taking the first tool out until everything was done and put away. Just some observations/info from my install:
1. Take the front seats and and trim along the...
I found their customer service to be the opposite, it was great. I contacted them about it and they sent me a brand new cowl piece and the reinforcement within a couple days. since I installed those I’ve had zero issues.
