Modified/installed an Alucab canopy table bracket so that I can store an Alucab table under the sleeping platform of my ALCC. Table can be stowed/removed when sleeping platform is raised or lowered. I talked to the nice folks at AVO who had teased this mod on their instagram feed late last...
I do. My understanding is that the T-nuts for the mopar trail rails are compatible with what Toyota uses on Tacos/Tundras, so lots of Amazon/eBay options there. So my complete thought is to tie into that and the ALCC slot directly above. Same idea as the brackets used to tie the camper to the...
Thank you for that info! You make a really good point about the rails being closed and limiting the length of fastener that could be slid in. I found an M6 threaded T-slot nut on McMaster that is within the range you shared, but the are expensive and seem like they offer absolutely no benefit...
Basically body weight up to maybe 250lbs. My wife and I have come to the conclusion that having a stable place to put a foot that is perhaps a little taller than the top of the bed side. This would help in getting up and down from the sleeping platform. Not sure if this would be made from a...
Thank you! Any experience with something along these lines? To be clear I have no idea if the linked t-slot nuts are compatible with the t-slot profile that alucab uses. Looking for something with a bit more surface area than a hex nut.
Does anyone know the proper specs or can you share a link for purchasing appropriate sized t-slot nuts for the ALCC's extrusion profile? Thanks in advance!
Really interested to see what you come up with! I also prefer a seasonal solution, one that interfaces cleanly with the ALCC and doesn’t require a chimney on my rig.
Can you provide any insights and/or photos on how you tied the 80/20 extrusions to the AluCab T-slot? I've not done any projects with those extrusions yet, but likely to go with 10 series. So I'm not sure how best to tie that into the ALCC's M8 slot. Also wondering about best way to work...
This looks like a great option, given the amount we invest in these rigs and their contents. I’m very interested.
What do you know about specific compatibility with GPFactor molle panels?
Also curious about the obvious questions of pricing and availability… I would opt to mount the lock...
I have a number of accessories requiring attachment directly to the positive terminals of the starter battery (winch, ARB dual, pass. compartment fuse block, camper wiring) and I'm finding real-estate there to be really tight. What have folks done to extend the terminals?
I was thinking...
Agreed. I’m quite interested in flush mount, but am frankly scared off by this thread. I’ve got OEM led lights and they seem to be the more problematic with this product. Bummer.
