Or maybe move the ladder to the rear. Put a step on the rail between fender flair and bumper. Then put a step cutout in the side of the bed. Something like this (hopefully nicer).

May I suggest adding some steps. Between the back door and front of fender. Maybe one on top of flair like the WayOut concept. something like this.

I know this is a bit old but... What caused the blow out? Bad tire or road hazard. My Gladiator will have the same tires. I don't want to see blow outs on mine.:crying::facepalm:
