I’ve been waiting and waiting on my wheels as parts have been stacking in my garage. I was told I would have the analog HD’s in feb, then it became March and then April, and then may and now June. It’s a big decision as I’m going to keep this truck for a long time as a reminder of our family...
I’m looking for a master mechanic or aftermarket Install shop that can help me install a teraflex lift kit and also, regear the front and rear to a 4.88.
Any recommendations in the Bay Area?
I’m based in Marin and the only shops I know of who work on Jeep’s are golden gate jeep in San Rafael...
My truck was built on 12/19. The steering was loose like a 1970’s solid axle car from the 70’s. After trying to get the steering gear replaced for 3 months it finally happened, thanks to @JeepCares. I can now drive this truck on the freeway without feeling like it’s slightly out of control.
Funny you mention Ursa Minor. I’ve asked them if they thought about developing pop up tent for the JT. That would essentially turn it into the defender 130. I would love to work on making this conversion for the Gladiator one day.
As for putting the camper on and off that’s a good question...
I narrowed down my search onto three companies.
Spoke with Spencer from Super Pacific.
Spoke with GFC.
Spoke with RLD.

This is very helpful. Can you also speak to mounting the ikamper to the canopy directly. I’m considering the same setup vs adding a canopy roof rack. Much appreciated.
My TSB appointment was all set for tomorrow and I got this email today. The service is disappointing and the quality of the truck is as well in regards to the steering. Since driving the car off the lot 3 months ago I’ve had to take the truck to the dealership service department two times...
Ok! So - after sinking 40+ hours of researching suspension (countless YouTube videos from shock surplus, reviews by trail recon, and speaking to reps at north ridge 4x4, Morris and quadratec) I’ve decide. I considered in all seriousness every brand that’s out there with an open mind. My key...
I’ve been considering the Evo vs the top of the range smitty. My only hesitation is not knowing how hidden the wires are on the warm evo. In every product photo on north ridge there are a lot of wires coming out to the left side. How did you hide your wiring so well?
Just moved back to California after six years abroad. I wanted to get the gladiator since I saw it. I came close to pulling the trigger on a Land Cruiser 200 series, then decided to go with the bronco, but after a significant delay in production I came back to the gladiator. I think I made the...
