Seems kind of odd they would chose a manual transmission mojave to be their choice for their test. Probably the least common trim combo they could come up with for their overal testing.
Must have been a bad person. In general the older a jeep is the more likely I see them to wave around here, never once got the finger at my JT.
You have any crazy mods or anything that would trigger somebody? Other than the Mojavie hood I can't imagine how he would even know it was a JT...
Been thinking of removing the Rubicon branding off my Rubicon since honestly I don't like the red with gator or the attention that trim level sometimes draws. But not sure what I would get normal lettering to replace it with there.
In other news I might have a 4x4 trail rated badge on the...
Thats interesting elevating the front helped for you. I had always assumed that was more geared towards let room situations. Does it get you away from the feeling you are sitting at the top of the windshield?
yep, mine really hasn't even done much off roading and I have noticed a very similar noise when opening mine. I get all kinds of crap from trees caught in my hood vents.
I didn't know there were others like me. 6'3 30-32 inseam. lol. Looks like there is actually a higher demand than I thought to drop the seat down lower.
Whats strange is bestop has uppers that fit the element doors, they just don't have the lower covers out yet about a year after they first mentioned "soon" the lowers....
Just had a really strange radio issue two days ago. Was driving and my audio (android auto tidal music) started cutting out ever two seconds. Rebooted phone, didn't work. Restarted car, same issue. Disconnected android auto and switched to bluetooth, exact same issue. Phone call still audio...
That is pretty sweet and fixes one of the seat issues of the JT. After having my leg stuck in a brace for 9 weeks I can tell you the JT has even less leg room than a Toyota Prius.... Just let that sink in, lol
I just wish they made something that could also drop the seat down by about 2 inches.
And this is how everybody ends up with so many radios, there is no perfect radio. I think you might also be looking for a unicorn radio. My unicorn is just something waterproof on the VHF/UHF side of things, but is also quality
Having all band and APRS seems to be something that doesn't...
Then you might want to look at one of the safari style covers. though some of them look like a total PIA to remove. Its the difference between getting soaked in a storm and getting a nice little mist from the side, lol
Get the soft top. I ran mine last summer pulled back but was able to leave it mostly dry in safari mode. pulled back I don't notice its there, and the JT stayed mostly dry during storms. Also helped keep me from freezing on cold nights since doors off plus top off can be a little much at 50...
I have seen videos where people have repainted them, but I can't imagine any painting done would survive a single use. I really would like to paint my rear ones but am afraid they will look worse pretty quickly when the coat I put on starts to come off.
I agree, with the output of these would be awesome for that kind of purpose. Also have the bumper ones coming as well. Wire them all together for things like work lights, trailers, and tailgaters. lol
They Byers ford in Delaware always did good work for me. I had my Prius rear ended twice in 2 years. First time just a bumper, second time bumper and latch. over 5.5 years later repair job is perfect still.
Well I had to google what that was, didn't have one, but found something similar and that plus my desk clamp were able to get this in shape. Thank you for the help!
The soldering through the hole ended up being the most time consuming part. lol
