Thought I liked the Baja light bar in front but was sticking out to far. Tried to reverse the Maximus3 mount but was too tall. I used the Baja mounts that were included. I hope the stainless grows on me and doesn’t rust. Thoughts? Tucked in too far? Or just right?
FYI Baja Designs customer...
I ended up getting a quick trip to my dealer to do some long overdue installs.
AEV spacer lift
Yeti Steersmarts trackbar
Mopar cowl lights
Bajadesign ONX6 10” lightbar
Wheel locks for my city trips!
I’ll get some better pics. Snow and rain coming back! Next is new hard bed cover with rack and...
Weathertech liners finally gone. Put the rubber mats back in. Put my Boiler frame on for nostalgia.
Lots more to do that’s just sitting there waiting. Lights. Lift. Track bar. Blah blah blah.
Looking at different options and this seems to have a lot of good attributes if you get the unit. But, really, $4K? Is the value there as just a top? Is it more about the different options available? Or if just using as a top that doesn't rust (stainless does rust tho you just have to deal...
Keep in mind they were making the old style Grand Cherokee (WK) and selling a ton of them that were sitting around waiting on chips. Also, they have the WL 3 row selling like crazy. So, GC volume available to sell was double the normal. Now WK is done and plant getting re-tooled for the WL...
Can anyone say if you can install the DB HD with a Mopar drop in bed liner as opposed to the spray in? Very curious if anyone has done this. Likely some cuts at the bulkhead?
Has anyone seen the new shocks and bump stops for the TSB? Any cross reference to other platforms? Is the TSB going to add hydraulic bump stops maybe like the Mojave in combination with the shock change?
At dealer today for DEF recall and they ordered the parts for the TSB. Said the shocks will be here in 4-5 days. That surprised me. The jounce bumpers are end April estimated. That must be the issue, right?
Thanks for posting this. Just checked the app and I'm in the recall. I've got 5k miles and I've added 5 gallons (came full obviously) and now have just over 1/2 tank left. Seems high usage. Also, my mileage has not been stellar. 19 mpg overall. 80-85mph on stock was around 18mpg. Changed...
Tires are Nokian Rotiiva AT Plus. LT315/70/17. D-8 ply. Only ran a few hundred miles so far. Excellent performance. Not hard core and a little visually challenged compared to KO2/Wildpeak/Duratracs. I will do a write up on them soon in the tires section. Ice/snow traction is best I’ve had in...
Here’s quick pics. Got installed today. Went at 35 psi and might play with that a little. Ride is better than OE Falkens as expected. Wheels sit about perfect as expected also. Will get to try snow and ice over next couple days. Then melting and I’ll aim for the water!
Got the Weathertech flaps installed. Definitely helps. Have the JL spats on order too. A few goods to install when my team grows up and gives me a break! Went with 315/70/17 Nokian AT tires. Won’t be crawling over buildings but this design looks like a good compromise.
Stumbled on this discussion. I have a JTRD (diesel). Will the Mojave shocks/springs make the Rubicon any better on-road? Will it do anything negative off-road? No rock crawling, just hills and dirt roads.
Will it lift the front? The diesel is heavy.
Crazy question as this is the Gladiator forum, but has anyone ordered a Jeep from them that's not a Gladiator? Same discount formula on a Grand Cherokee?
