So are you suggesting (maybe) that those of us with AEV spacer lifts can just change springs and basically have the same effect? Maybe even a little more leveling?

I used pop rivets so yes you need a gun. Not expensive.

I had a hardfold and switched to retractable. Roll N Lock XT has T slot rails. You can add crossbars and then bikes , basket, or whatever you want within weight limits. The space eaten up inside bed is not bad and mostly water tight. Check it out with a search.

Got the rears installed today finally. No issues. Remove some rivets. Drill some holes. Rivet in place. I thought the WT flaps would integrate better but they’re functional at this point. I seriously might get different tires now tho. Haha.

I get what you're saying but this look like either the spring wasn't positioned correctly or it shifted. I'm leaning toward not installed correctly after the new shocks/bumps were installed. Will find out next week. This was the best driving Jeep (Wrangler/Glad) I've had and they toasted it...

Off topic question for anyone with more spring experience than me. One side to the other does not look correct. AEV spacer lift. This an issue? Cause vibrations at speed? Jeep was perfect. Went in for TSB shocks and stops and it's been a mess since. Now I see this. Did the tech not align...

Dealer is trying to get paid twice: one from STLA and once from you for the same job. But, to your point, you would have to be pretty close to them and they may have issue that if TSB didn't work and they changed the springs it would cause an issue of problem liability.

Sun finally stayed out long enough to warm it up in Northern MI! Top off for first time. Did it my self with a little arm engineering. Not bad. I’ll update on the re-install.

That looks great, and people love the Gobi. I think to each his/her own, but I just don't get it. Is it because it doesn't get dirty?

I tried that one too. It was too big to fit in receiver. Must have had a bad batch. Agree, it's got heft.

Actually the install isn't bad at all. It could have been easier with another person. Carrying the canister up a few steps of a ladder into the bed might throw some off a bit. But, I'm older and stubborn and fortunately still able!! I didn't need any of the leveling shims or spacers at all.

Got Roll n Lock XT installed last night. Finally. Long story. This one went on mostly nice. Bought the XT to add bars and a basket. First set of crossbars were bent (?) so they went back. This by itself seems pretty good. It was tough to trim my bedliner straight but it’s hidden anyway.

Can you take a back side pic? Seriously did I just write that? Really tho. From behind??
