Sponsored
I used these...anybody know what size plastic rivet to use?
Thanks so much ??
Hmmm....Alright, I’m not sure when I’ll get my hands on a rivet tool but I washed my jeep for the second time in as many days so it’s clean enough to tinker.
The fronts are as predicted, a lil long on the rear. Will make for an easy trim though.

The angle in the rear is sharper than the front which causes some binding.

I think notching out some material like such will allow for better fitment.

Looks good. Did you need a rivet tool or did you just drill a hole and push the rivet in?Got the rears installed today finally. No issues. Remove some rivets. Drill some holes. Rivet in place. I thought the WT flaps would integrate better but they’re functional at this point. I seriously might get different tires now tho. Haha.

I used pop rivets so yes you need a gun. Not expensive.Looks good. Did you need a rivet tool or did you just drill a hole and push the rivet in?
Did you have to notch the rear?Alright, thanks to my cheap Amazon rivet tool failing after the first rivet, I only got halfway done, lol. It took me a f’n half hour to reverse engineer and correctly assemble the Chinese POS but it was smooth sailing after that. Unfortunately, daylight wasn’t on my side at that point. (Full disclosure, I live in a tire coverage law state). These pics are of the front flare extension on the rear.

Yes, cut a wedge from the bend to allow it to flex more.
Here’s a pic. Basically there are bends on two different planes so there is a lot of fight when trying to shape it. Notching makes it more pliable.Did you have to notch the rear?
