Thought on this after posting my thread on the ATS: AEV has a steering stabilizer they made with Bilstein that is a really fair price. No experience with it so don't know the performance.
But, I did install a Fox TS 2.0 on a JL and just put the ATS on the JT yesterday so the feeling is pretty...
Actually I used to be SE MI, now up north 99% of time. I personally feel the difference at all speeds, but the most noticeable is at speeds 45mph and up. Especially 60-75 mph the feeling is much better.
Just posting some pics for reference. Had the "bolt issue" and the replacement Mopar part showed up today. Overall the hardest part is definitely getting the stock steering shock off. They used a lot of red locktite!
Anyway, it's the 3rd one I've done (different Jeeps) and the difference is...
Just installed the ATS stabilizer yesterday (tried to) and ran into this issue. Will call for a new bolt this morning. Thanks for the thread. I also have a really tight tolerance bracket on mine and really struggling to get the 3 bolts lined up on the axle side. Plenty of words were uttered...
Picked a Rubi Ecodiesel. Pretty loaded. Had several JKs and traded a JLU for this. Awesome ride so far. Already started the fun: added Mopar bedliner, undercover tonneau, dead pedal, short antenna and have a Fox ATS steering upgrade ready to go on.
