So, the trucks with soft tops come with velcro straps that per the owners manual are supposed to be wrapped around the side bars when the top is folded down. The salesman never mentioned them, of course, and I have yet to use them..
The related question, of course, is has anybody had or...
Sounds like a Jeep really isn't for you, time to move on, unless you can negotiate a much lower buyout.
When I was shopping last month, the dealers were offering used Sports with some options and 4-20K miles in the low $40s... it made more sense to me to buy new.
I just ordered the Tyger Colorado top, $149 on Amazon vs. $206 for the Gladiator version (currently reduced, the normal price is the same $206). Should arrive tomorrow.
We have a very small 16' RV (Provan Tiger), so things need to be compact as storage space is very limited. We have a set of nesting pots made for backpacking (not that I'd ever take anything that large backpacking) and lacking a microwave or oven, a Bemco stovetop backpacker oven which folds...
Interesting that Tyger's Colorado cover is $148 and their Gladiator cover is $206. Most say the Colorado cover will fit a Gladiator but some say otherwise?
The width is the same?
Must be some scientists here, to talk of moles. In engineering we just use "standard cubic feet" (or any other volume units), which is the volume a mass of air would fill at at standard atmospheric pressure ( psi).
The precise dimensions of the tire probably don't matter, you can get close...
I'm kinda confused also by what I have, or am supposed to have. Mine is a basic 23 Sport with the 7" display. According to the build sheet, it has:
4G LTE WI-FI HOT SPOT
SIRIUSXM GUARDIAN-INCLUDED TRIAL (B)
ALL VP2R RADIOS
However, the hotspot and guardian don't show up on the window...
Same here, expect to get a sprayed in liner soon. Just what do those plastic plugs cover, and is it likely one would ever need to remove them? I know the big square one in the back is where the inverter outlet goes, but I don't have that and it's unlikely I'd add it.
If they just snap in...
Permanent daylight saving time is stupid; the clocks will forever be out of sync with "real" (i.e. solar) time (I know, it only matches "real" time at one particular longitude in each time zone, but still) If you want to eliminate the twice yearly shift, use real time, and let businesses adjust...
Westin HDX stainless drop nerf bars:
Got home from the cabin this afternoon to find a long heavy box on my porch, so naturally I had to put them on. Took about 3 hours working solo, some of that was figuring out the installation instructions which had several glaring errors and omissions, so...
Searching this forum, seems lots of others have the same complaint as I do.
The "favorite" setting only makes one BT device preferred over other BT devices. It's not available (grayed out) when only one device is paired. I've searched every menu and tried every option.
I found a partial solution, though it's a crude hack. I still have the BT to FM transmitter from my old car. If I plug that in to the switched 12V power socket and tune the radio to it, I get silence instead of static when the radio turns itself on... but I still have to go through the motions...
