  1. ANTI-SPIN DIFFERENTIAL REAR AXLE?

That they are for sure! This is our 5th Jeep since 1985, which was a red CJ-7, soft top and doors, later found red used doors(great condition!), hard top and added AC! The Gladiator is the best riding Jeep we have ever owned! Thanks again for knowledge, much appreciated!
  2. ANTI-SPIN DIFFERENTIAL REAR AXLE?

Your are correct, it is a Trac-Lock differential. Just got off the phone with my mechanic and either I did not hear him correctly or he had misspoke. Either wanted to confirm your comment. Thanks for setting me straight. I will be deleting that information as I don't want to add any...
  3. ANTI-SPIN DIFFERENTIAL REAR AXLE?

Thanks for the reply and the information. My mechanic's assistant had pointed out to him if someone else had installed the locking unit. At this point I will ask my mechanic if indeed it is an Eaton or not. I will let you know the outcome of that conversation.
  4. ANTI-SPIN DIFFERENTIAL REAR AXLE?

I did find a link at Curry that provides a very good description of the 3 differential lockers. Link is below. https://www.currieenterprises.com/differential-options-explained
  5. Class Action Law suit for windshields in Gladiator and Wranglers

My wife and I live north of Phoenix and our auto insurance pays for new windshields for all of our vehicles. Our deductible is $600 for all our vehicles and our insurance covers full replacement without any further cost to our policy. I cannot say that our Gladiator and Liberty are any more...
  6. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Swapped out the 3:73s for 4:10s. Next will be a SwayLoc for the front end when I save up some more cash.
  7. 1963' Willys & 2022 Willys

I am trying to get a picture of all the family jeeps together with the family. They have 2 CJs, and two more older jeeps, even older than the 63'. It will take sometime to get them all together, but worth the picture!
  8. 1963' Willys & 2022 Willys

Had to take these pics of my brother-in-laws wife's 1963 Willys, recently rebuilt and our 2022 Willys JT.
  9. Cut into hood to complete (vent) my Mopar CAI

Confidence is needed but if you follow the instructions, it actually went quite well. If you do decide to go this route, use a Dremel tool that is AC wired. I do not recommend using a battery Dremel tool unless you have about 10 batteries! I had only 2 batteries so a 3 hour job took 6 hours...
  10. Cut into hood to complete (vent) my Mopar CAI

I have to agree that this install is not for the faint of heart! I did not remove the hood so I would not have to crack the painted bolts. I have done enough upgrades and repairs but this install was the most nerve racking too say the least. Since I have a Willys, shorter than Rubicon, no issue...
  11. Hood locks

Installed the Rugged Ridge Locking Hood Catch Set - 11210.32 from Four Wheel Parts. Fits okay, I still have adjust the height for each side so it will release better. Like this method better than putting a hood lock on the front grill.
  12. Looking at the Gladiator from behind....

    Little late on this posting.
  13. Looking at the Gladiator from behind....

Those look so much better than stock! I am glad to know you have had the Oracle tail lights for over and 1.5 years and I assume no problems. I intend to do the same and have the JL Mini Tazer to do the update to LED.
  14. Looking at the Gladiator from behind....

Thanks for the info! Definitely on my short list.
  15. Looking at the Gladiator from behind....

Where did you get the rear tail lights? Look much better than stock.
  16. Lower MPG than expected. Anyone else?

Started with about 18.2 with MTs and then at 4100 miles changed to Goodyear Duratrak(first time with these tires) and now get 18.9. Not much, but I will take the gain. Best freeway was 19.9 mpg with these tires averaging 75 mph. We got to 21 mph with a tail wind on level road( I-8 between Yuma...
  17. Wind noise reduced 70%

    Of course! Thanks!
  18. Power Sliding Rear Window - It's possible!

Necessity breeds genius! Well done and if you decide to provide a 'kit" for the rear slide window, I am also in for paying for it!!
  19. JT a sales failure & doomed to same fate as the Scrambler?

I live in AZ and see a lot of Wranglers and seeing more Gladiators. This is Jeep #5 for us(CJ, ZJ, WJ, KJ(wife bought the KJ), and the JT) and it is the best riding Jeep I have owned. My brother-in-law and I took a ride on the FS24 in eastern AZ during the bow hunt for Elk. Came across the usual...
