I'd liquidate assets to get a 392 or 5.7 manual Gladiator. That's the dream right there. Of course it needs to be an appropriate 6 that can handle the torque without too much extra weight.
They should go where the window buttons are and put the window buttons on the door. I don't need a window buttons when the doors are off. Frees up more real estate on the dash.
Response from Genesis when I asked if he knows of anyone running their system with the 5.7 conversion:
Thank you for reaching out. If they are, they haven't told us, but if the conversion doesn't change the location or orientation of the battery or fusebox our system should work fine. If it...
I have not heard back yet, but will use this thread to report the answer. Now we all know anything is possible with enough time and money, but I'd like to not go too broke.
Also, did anyone catch that during the latest DRC video......
When he is talking to the welder, he mentions something about how the "turn key" version already come with the cross member mod she had to do?
Is this more confirmation that an "order it from Jeep" is coming?
Also, if that is...
I started a separate thread on this but, this thread seems like a good place to ask as well.

Did anyone see this short from LiteBrite. I don't follow their socials, but this happened to pop up when I was looking for AMW stuff.
Summary: Order a V8 from AMW through Jeep with full warranty. All in for $80k.
Has anyone heard anything from their dealers about this happening? I have a...
I read that R&T article that it will be Hemi, not 100% the 392, which opens the door to the 5.7. With AMW's ramp up with all the 5.7s, I'm betting we'll see that 5.7. I'll buy it either way.
When it comes to the weight and the 3.6 vs the 5.7. I start to think about mileage for 3.6 with an additional 1000lbs pounds of kit out, food, water, gear versus the strain on the 5.7. I'd rather have 5.7 with all the extra weight even with the extra 160lbs. Overall it seem the 5.7 would...
Plus, if I was
Plus, if I was going to do this, I would actually have a AMW do the engine and transmission only, then take it south an hour to AEV and have them do the full AEV 370 build using the springs from the diesel.
I know we all like to banter, but I think going with the 5.7 V8 is a good move for Gladiator. It will set the JT apart from the competition by have a V8 option. The 3.6 is adequate for stock, but not so much for kitted rigs that to travel at high elevation.
I plan to put a full AluCab build...
