I'm very late to following these rumors. If they ever did, I would buy a 5.7 or 6.2 version of the JT. I'm currently looking at a Quatermaster. I like the idea of forced air at elevation. However, I'd rather have a JT with a V8. That's enough power to not really feel underpowered at 11,000'...

Is it really that bad? I knew there were some issues, but didn't follow it. Too bad they didn't just use the MT from the JK/LJ. Did they move to a shifter with cable instead of direct connection due to impact reasons, or did people whine about shifter vibration?
