Jeeps needs to desperately compete with the Ranger Raptor, Chevy/GMC Bison variants, and the new Tacoma.

To me this is a let down. It does not seem to be the successor of the LC200 or the LC300. It seems to be a cheapened version of the new GX550, in both material and engine options.
I'd pick the GX550 overtrail addition over these. LC200 prices are likely going to skyrocket.

Seems like new wheels would be in order to keep the tires semi tucked. Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but it it looks like you need something with an extra 2" inches to keep them under the flares.
It's great and would be on my list if I wanted an IFS mid-size truck. I'm glad the engines choices are there on the Colorado. Maybe it will push Jeep to release the Hurricane variant in the JL and JT or even put a V8 in the JT.
Competition is good.
Yeah, I’ve got the 2006 LJ rubicon and a slighted up fitted GX460. I can wait a little bit. But I do want something like the LJ with more cargo and living space. Really leaning towards a JT with an AluCab canopy camper. Sadly it probably won’t get a new engine until a year after the JL does...
