Would they pair the GME-T6 to a manual and offer it with the AWD transfercase?
If that seems unlikely, I'm sure they will mate it to a Auto transmission.
Bigger question, will they offer the GME-T6 as just a nice forced air 6cyl, or will they try to make it some sort of hybrid thing?
It has to match. What ever the rear doors are, is what the front should be. I guess you could go 5% lighter and it would look the same from the outside, but I'd start twitching if it didn't match on mine.
To answer the original question, Yes. Yes I would buy a V8 Gladiator. I don't care if it's the 5.7 or the 392. But, if it is released, I will put my order in immediately.
I have zero need for a full size regardless of TRX/Raptor...etc.
BUT, I'd also instantly buy one if they released the...
For me yes, I will always pick aluminum when structural needs don't call for steel. It isn't just one part. It is the cumulative. If you save 10lbs here, 50lbs there...etc it adds up. Plus, I hate rust or worrying about the potential for rust. yes, it is more expensive, but every lbs counts...
Any updates on this rumor? The jeep lots are quite empty. More empty than I've seen between model years previously. Wondering if lots are being cleared out of the 3.6 versions in anticipation of an I-6T model coming in 2022. Maybe I'm just wishing that is the case.
GME-T6 for 2022 please.
Something has to be coming out in regards to a new power plant. Ive never seen the local dealer lots this empty between model years. The only explanation is that the 3.6 is being phased out. Much less people would by a 2021 NA 3.6 if a 2022 has a I-6 turbo option.
I really hope they come out with an I-6 with forced air. Directly keeps with the engine offerings from Bronco. increase fleet EPA numbers allowing for more fun stuff with 392 vehicles.
I don't care about a "real" 35 or not. I'd get the gears I want, put on 37s immediately and just adjust the bumpstops if needed. Run like that until it dies.
Now, if they come out with a 392 "Hercules" Gladiator, offer it on the 3.0, or even come out with a forced air inline 6, I'll pull the...
I'd buy one now if they came out with Gobi again.
Fully spec'd diesel JT rubicon. I would not even be able to sign my name as fast as I'd jump on ordering that .
I prefer full length, like the AEV unit that was shown at SEMA 2500yrs ago. So it should be ready annnyyy tiiiime now.
But, regardless, I do prefer full length.
Sadly, life changed my plans and I did not end up buying the Mohave.
I’d say the new 392 is basically a MojaviCon for the Wrangler. I’m betting it will end up on the truck soon.
No matter what, I'm going to figure out a way to still run floor mats. Maybe something like the weatherTech that fill out the tub won't slip around.
I know over time floor mats look like crap, but then you just replace them. The same will hapen to the top of the Armor Lite, but it's...
