Another question - what do we know about the differences (if any?) in steering pumps and connections? They're the same across all JT's, right? I would expect this to cover all JT's, not random ones throughout the years.
Really curious what the "fix" will be as the system is designed to have power to the pump at all times (for some unknown reason).
Maybe a relay that cuts it off when ignition is off?
I'm currently thinking a sheet being draped over the nameplate and then rolling it in the back of a warehouse somewhere to make room for the Scrambler. But if it does continue, I'd bet on a turbo-4 and parts/options that keep it just below the Wrangler.
Yeah, rockers are supposed to have a bit of wiggle to them (though wiggle isn't even the right word because that makes it sound loose). Not sure how wide spread that would be though across all engine assemblies.
What are you trying to do? Because the offroad performance difference of a 36.5" tire and a 40" tire (if I'm reading your range correctly) is fairly minimal.
Super easy install, however, the top bolts for each bracket only give you space for about a 1/4 turn at a time so have some good tunes to listen to 😆
Steel rear bumper, so no trimming required.
Check the wheel bearings on the front (no clue why they'd fail at 4k miles but they sound like that).
Beyond that yeah I'd think something with driveline angles
