  1. 2" AEV spacer and Geometry brackets

Doh! Got my vehicles confused 😅. You’re right.
  2. 2" AEV spacer and Geometry brackets

Not true. The axle shift is max 1/4”, caster has adjustments outside of geo brackets. At some point you do need to do those things unless you want to have a crappy ride, it’s just that at 2” or less you’re not there yet.
  3. Do you find this useful?

I could be wrong, but I feel like if you made a Venn diagram of the people who would want something like this and the people who buy grumpers it would just be a circle. I see ~100 lbs of extra weight on the tailgate, at all times, wearing out the soft open spring. Put this on the road in salt...
  4. 2" AEV spacer and Geometry brackets

That being said, as soon as this post gets traction you’ll receive dozens of posts claiming that you do. I’d take that money and put it in the tire budget.
  5. 2" AEV spacer and Geometry brackets

You don’t need the brackets with that kit. The differences are negligible at 2” and below. Your control arms will still be nearly flat. It should drive just like factory.
  6. factory Aux Switches

Mine were dealership installed but they’re visible under the hood like what’s been shown, actually appreciated how easy they were to access.
  7. Do you find this useful?

Nope. If I needed that much storage potential I would delete the bed entirely and do some kind of bespoke solution. -That truck can’t be washed, not easily at least. -Anything hanging on those increases the truck’s width making maneuvering more difficult. -Similar to the above but a tree...
  8. What is the Oil capacity of Front Diff in Gladiator Rubicon (Dana 44 with locker and front axle disconnect)

Oil does travel down the tube. That said, it’s possible yours didn’t drain completely before you filled up. If your level is good at the cover then you’re good in general.
  9. Former Manual Transmission owner, now a Green Automatic transmission owner

Hey something cool on these that doesn't get alot of press (that I've seen) is the "off road cruise control" - that's not it's technical term, but it's basically what it is. If you look on your dash to the right of the button for your hazard lights you'll see a button with a jeep outline and...
  10. Former Manual Transmission owner, now a Green Automatic transmission owner

Naw, all you did was roll, you're rig should be good 👍
  11. Instrument Panels Ain't What They Used to Be (Another Rant from a Curmudgeon)

Unfortunately if you have the 7.5” radio you can’t put those on the screen, that’s on the 8.4” only. Folks with the 7.5 can pull each of those up individually in the center of the gauge cluster.
  12. Moog U-joint Part numbers/location

Your google-fu is better than mine! Well, looks like I can add those to the eBay pile then đŸ€Ł thanks!
  13. Instrument Panels Ain't What They Used to Be (Another Rant from a Curmudgeon)

I get that, for me I keep my oil pressure on in the center. My way of thinking is there is a dummy light for the battery, and temp, rpm’s, and fuel are always displayed, so oil pressure is the one that might tell me something before stuff hits the fan.
  14. Moog U-joint Part numbers/location

Ok, I had an opportunity to get some parts on what basically amounted to fire sale prices. I got some Moog greaseable u-joints but can’t find a good cross-reference to tell me if they’re for the driveshaft, front axle, or what. Moog #348 Moog #344AG Does anyone have a lead on what location...
  15. Puffs blue smoke at startup

2023 so take it in to the dealership of your choice and let them sort it out. You’re still under the bumper to bumper warranty and the powertrain. They’ll probably ask to keep it over a few days, if they’re decent they’ll give you a rental, if they don’t then call Jeep and demand it (been...
  16. How do you JT gassers do it? MPG...

Don’t have the math in front of me, but around here diesel is typically 50-75 cents more per gallon than gas. So when we’re talking single digit mpgs more vs gas I think it’s a wash or even slightly more expensive to drive a diesel JT.
  17. Winter Driving - Fishtailing

Yeah I'd say it's an LSD, but the terminology goes back & forth. Jeep brands it as LSD, Chevy brands it as a locker (or did in the 80's-90's at least) but the results are the same. I think the easiest designation would be for brands to label what is in the rubi and mojave's as "selectable"...
  18. What's your take on aftermarket aluminum oil filter caps

I'd say nah. The filter inside the cap (in addition to the cap and housing, like has already been stated) is plastic too. If the filter cap was accessed from the bottom, like on some toyotas, then I could see this as being a bit of extra insurance for a stray rock hit, etc, but since it's on...
  19. Winter Driving - Fishtailing

It does crack me up that I find myself chirping tires more in my JT than my camaro just due to the weight distribution 😂
