I installed an iDrive unit on mine, and it helped tremendously with throttle response. Worth the $200 IMO. Especially since you can adjust it with a bunch of different settings. I run mine on U-7 mode. It works great with the Tazer JL Mini. I recommend both upgrades.
If you plan on driving on the road more than offroad, and aren't wanting full-on mud tires, the new Nitto Ridge Grapplers are great tires.
If you want mud tires, the Kumho Road Venture M/T KL71 and the MT71 model tires are both good to look into. I have the KL71 tires on my Jeep. They're...
When I drive my Cummins anywhere and park it, same thing happens. Some uneducated hick with a POS truck that’s got a cheap lift & bald mud tires always has to park right beside me to show off their tard pride as if they’re trying to impress me with their POS truck. Starting to notice the same...
The EPA and government are trying hard to destroy dino-diesels. They hate the inline 6 Cummins, which is why for the 2007 model year, they (Cummins) had to bump up the displacement from 5.9L to 6.7L to account for all the (un)necessary EPA bullshit required to pass emissions, and still retain...
HELL NO! I wouldn't put that evil on anybody. :CWL: I would like to see beefed up version of the 8-speed we already have. It's a very nice and smooth transmission. One of the best I've seen (ZF builds a good transmission, that's who helped build Ford's name).
I don't know man... You'll have to ask someone who knows all that. I don't get into the stock suspension knowledge, just the basics. I tend to save my cells for the aftermarket scene, since I have this issue where I "can't leave well-enough alone". :CWL:
I have a Remington 700 5R Milspec 26" in .300WM, and it's little brother in .308 Win. I love the .308 Win, but not a fan of the .300 WInMag cartridge, as a whole. It's a good cartridge, but it has become a very "hipster" cartridge over the last decade with all the armchair "snipers" that use...
Personally, not a fan of Allisons... They can't handle more than about 50-75 continuous HP over stock ratings, and they're expensive as holy shit to beef up and build. The 68RFE behind my 6.7 Cummins isn't much better. The Suncoast MEGA68 with a Billet triple-disc converter is about $12,000...
I'm on a diesel forum...The EcoDiesel is a junk engine, that's why I didn't wait for one. IF they had gone with a common rail I-4 Cummins (whatever the current iteration of the 4BT is), I would have waited. But that EcoDiesel is NOT worth a penny more than the standard 3.6L V6 engine...
Are you sure you got all 4 coils on their proper ends? Apparently each coil spring has it's own special location under the Jeep. Apparently each coil has a special/different part number to distinguish their locations. You might have the Front D & P coils backwards, or the same with the rear...
1" overall, or just the front or rear? If it's just the front or just the rear, plenty of folks offer 1" spacers, but you will still need to an adjustable track bar for the front. Anything over about 1.5" on the front-end requires one to fully recenter the front axle back to specs under the...
All these companies have patented excuses for their shortcomings and stupidity, and choice to NOT listen to what the customers want. Jeep did a decent job of listening to their customers with lots of things on the Gladiator, but their choice to NOT offer a V8 option was their biggest screwup to...
Just a little bit... I won't show the whole bench. But I can show a picture of the die sets... I do a lot of custom cartridge design and wildcatting, as well.
Been shooting guns since I was 2 years old. Dad would hold the gun and teach me how to aim and pull the trigger. I was always a...
You don't remember the 2nd Gen Dakota R/T with the 5.9 V8, and the other model Dakotas being offered with a 4.7 or 5.2 Magnum V8?
