I did a tailgate seal and things improved, but I still get more dust in the bed than I ever got in my old Ram pickup with no tailgate seal. I think there is some weird low pressure phenomenon happening that sucks it in wherever it can.
I did my first oil & filter change on my Jeep last week. I only had a 5 qt jug to put in, so I figured I'd buy a qt to top it off later, if needed. After warming it up and giving it 10 minutes to settle back in the pan, it was only about 3/4 up the hashed marks. After sitting overnight, it...
I have factory LEDs and experienced the erratic turn signal / turn signal out warning. Oracle's fix is two additional short harnesses that plug in between the truck and each Oracle tail light. After a long wait, I received the fix as was promised, installed it a few weeks ago, and have been...
I have the same cover and cooler and even with a bed mat it's a very snug fit, but it works. I have to crack the back lip of the cover to drag it in and out.
I found the available TSB to replace the steering box (alum to steel) to solve the problem. It cost me nothing and I didn't have to lift the hood nor crawl under the truck.
Somebody posted an inspection checklist on this forum for taking delivery of a new truck. One item was to check that the Rubicon decal was on both sides. Based on that, I could just as well see this happening (and I'd give thought to accepting it this way.)
Is Gator really the color of gators? No gators in AZ, but still think it’s the best.
Actually Gobi helped convince me I wanted a Gladiator and I intended to order Gobi until I saw Gator in person and then there was no going back.
Keep us posted … perhaps you’ve found “the fix.” If it, indeed, has solved their problem, I’d like to try the same (w/ Oracle’s blessing that the warranty remains in force.)
It really bothered me, as well, about the harness being too short — had to unsnap the clip to the bodywork which...
I think you hit the nail on the head. Jeep is probably going back to Gobi to take advantage of the new Jurassic movie. (By any chance is the Gladiator actually used in the movie?)
It's a novel idea, but executed pretty crudely. Instructions, drawings, etc. are crude as well. Everything needs refining before I drill holes in my roof.
Also, if I understand the installation correctly, the deal breaker for me is that you lose the ability to remove the freedom panels...
