It’s cheap, I don’t care much about how anything looks, I was really just looking for a cheap winch...
I had that rampage top on my JK and it totally was fantastic. The windows came out in the back and there was a zippered pocket in the back to slide them in. It was so good that I kept it on year round and sold my hard top. If they make this for the JT I’m in day 1.
I’m in the same boat as the OP really. At this point I NEVER listen to music because it’s such a money racket and a pain to deal with. Login here, monthly fee there, only x amount of people streaming at a time, upgrade your account!
My speakers haven’t been used in any vehicle I’ve owned in...
I have a similar question. My old JK I had a dual battery setup purely for jump purposes.
I had it mounted with a large battery selector switch with dual alternators. The alternators charged the Batts and if I ever ran my main cranking battery down on accident in the woods, all I had to do...
I never understood this need. Why is it not just on you at all times unless you walking into a school or a gvt building? Transferring the weapon back and forth from self to vehicle multiple times seems like asking for a AD. I’m not trying to be a snob or anything, I just truly don’t understand...
I really like how the 37s look, but I don’t think I’d ever have any use for them. Plus driving an hour one way to work 5 days a week on 37s with 373s sounds…not fun. Most likely I’ll end up with 33s, a little spacer level and mount my winch. Thank you for the input though I do appreciate you...
Hello, new overland owner here.
I have a fishing spot I like to go to that requires a couple of low water bridge crossings. One of those requires fording up a creek a fair way. While it’s not especially deep, it is rutted out pretty bad in spots and I’m not much of a risk taker.
is there...
I have a giant schnauzer. She spent the first few years of her life rescuing others as a SAR dog with a friend of mine. Time constraints made him hang it up, and eventually he had to move for work. When she is not busy, she can be a handful. So over the years she spent a lot of time with my...
Wow some really great advise here, you are all fantastic thank you!
So I guess the mods I’m going to do, in no particular order.
tires
Winch
Interior protection (seat covers, etc.)
Spacer lift
Couple of bright lights
Brake controller (for mah trailer)
Some skids and protection
I think that...

well what I meant by “not on purpose”, was that I don’t purposefully go on off-road trails every weekend for the soul reason of off-roading in itself. Not that I wouldn’t, if presented the opportunity. I totally would. I know some people do that, and I wanted to be clear.
Yes, I am quite...
I do tow a little here and there, trailers and construction equipment. Nothing enormous, a bobcat here, a backhoe there. The payload is actually not that great in the wagon as compared to the gladiator.
Wow everyone thank you so much for your responses. I’ll be sure to send some muddy pics soon.
looks like my original plan of just throwing some 33s on it with a spacer lift will work. I’ll keep everyone updated. Some of these old logging roads and mining roads are pretty brutal. I guess it’s...
This is part of the crux of why I made my post. I also don’t know how capable the LSD would be and I’m not sure if installing some ARB lockers would be worth the price. I guess I’ll find out, but finding out the hard way and having to walk out of the woods a few miles does not sound likebdub...
Greetings community! My name is Ben, and I am the owner of a new gladiator overland. I got out of my 18 power wagon for it, for multiple reasons which I will explain shortly.
This may be a rather lengthy initial post, with the underlying intent being that I’m having some buyers remorse. Not...
