I listen to FM radio, plus I have iHeart radio as an app on my phone (controllable via Android Auto on-screen) and (... WAIT FOR IT...) I have a cassette player plugged in via the Aux cable option. I like that the head unit has an option to increase the sound on the Aux option on the settings; that option does not appear unless you have something plugged into the Aux port. I've been listening to everything I collected in the 80s and 90s - lots of each of the following: classic rock, metal/glam bands, and country.

Oh, yeah - I have an iPod, too.

P.S. Cassettes also have no commercials. :giggle:

I’m in the same boat as the OP really. At this point I NEVER listen to music because it’s such a money racket and a pain to deal with. Login here, monthly fee there, only x amount of people streaming at a time, upgrade your account!

My speakers haven’t been used in any vehicle I’ve owned in a very long time

I just want the cassette days back. Not even CDs. CDs skipped all the time and were fragile and scratched. The cassette tapes…I still have a couple dozen giant rubber-maid containers full of them.

so yeah I agree. Technology blows.
