Never thought my sailing hobby would collide on a Jeep board...nice to meet another sailor on here! Never sailed in Bora Bora before but have been around other parts of the world. Own my own sailboat here on Lake Erie in the great lakes.
How are the 37" tires with the Mopar lift on the stock...
Agree more competition in the space will be good!! It's going to be a rough ride for anyone trying to get into the Jeep market..but the more that are in it the better off everyone is. More technology, more advancements and more design choices. Hopefully....better pricing. Right now that's the...
Darn it! I missed this by a week!
I will give cudos to Northridge though. Had an issue with the Bestop (not Northridge) and contacted Northridge in case I was going to have to return it. They responded promptly and offered to help in any way they can.
Understood. I thought these were the Mopar aftermarket 2" lifts. Thanks for the clarification. And I do not believe the Rubicon suspension gives any lift over any other trim levels. I could be wrong on that as it's just what I remember reading on this site.
Have the 2low shift fork installed on my TJ and use it ALL the time on tight trails. In fact I'm mostly in 2lo until I need the front and just bump the lever forward a notch into 4lo. Even with an ARB front disconnecting it allows me to turn much tighter in the woods. Also allows me to stomp...
Oddly as it as this is the one thing I miss on this new truck...My previous two trucks (Both Titans) had the electric down window. I used them a LOT. I'm being lazy but climbing into the back seat to open the only window that's not electric on this almost 60k jeep seems odd. But I still love it.
I've had this problem. I've been in contact with bestop and I'm posting this to hopefully help the next guy. First the corners sticking up is an easy fix. I took the above posters photos and drew on them for your amusement.
The part I lined in red needs to go BELOW the part in blue. The white...

You could do this with a relay. leave the "at rest" pole of the relay hooked to your door switch (which will not get used when doors are off) then use your aux switch to fire the relay and then provide power(or ground) to the steps' relay. This way you won't be feeding back into your door...
I've had a multitude of winches over the years. Had an old Ramsey REP8000 that back in the day (mid 90s) I was told would never last. Well. I JUST retired it. The motor finally went and honestly I could have replaced the motor but for the cost of the motor replacement, I just got a new...
Which is the route I went because I didn't like the Red dash (we all have our dislikes). I personally love the black leather much more than the metal dash panel.
However..not a huge fan of black wheels with black tires.... so I think some Borah's are on my list now.
